With Healing (a lvl 14 or 19 spell for me I think) I heal mid 90hp with this on i heal for about 115. Hope this helps

I've had mixed results with my turtleshell helm. Sometimes when I cast, it mentions that the 'helm feeds power into you' and my Light Healing does 31 points (9th Druid) and at others, it mentions that 'you feel your power drain into the helm' and I only do a 28 pt heal. Will this effect only work sometimes or what?

It seems that the first casting the message you feel your power drain into the helm, and the healing is for standard, but after that the rest of the messages are the power feeds into you and I have gotten anywhere up to 20% increase in the healing amount.
While chain casting the lowest clerical healing it drained into the helm twice before it began to feed into me and after a few castings it would drain into the helm a few times, so it is not a constant +20% effect, which we were all hoping for.

My 15th level Druid heals for 31 points with Light Healing everytime I cast wether its to me or a friend and I do not wear any items with this focus.
It also says above:
"4:Restriction:Affects 'Instant' spells only". Does anyone know where this instant spell of healing is? I think this is wrong. And what heal isnt beneficial? Except when you just spent all your mana lowering your health so you can work on bandaging and someone comes by and fully heals you. Its a misunderstanding until they ***** at you for not saying thank you...sigh.
Its gonna take all of us posting what we find to figure out what exactly Verant did to help us ingame or confuse the hell out of us when we arent playing.

Instant Heal spells are any heal spells that give all the hp at once rather than a regeneration type spell or celestial spell. minor healing, light healing, healing, greater healing, ect. All Instant heal spells.

SK's get life tap spells, they heal the SK and do damage to the target...it's a heal but not a "beneficial only" spell since it does damage. There are also regen spells which heal over time...these are the heals that aren't instant.

I usually cast for 10 with minor heal and 11 after this effect.

I got this spell off one of the Xi ??? guys in Maiden's Eye this weekend. I forget which type, but we were hunting in the Shadow Overlord's ruins area.
