I can't believe with all the posts on this spell that no one has said once who the vender is in the Qeynos Aquaducts that sells it.
Gryna Porrin sells it and it cost my SK 19pp 4gp 1sp 7cp.

Help! I have had this since 12 (lesser summon corpse)(necro) what does it do? every time i try it, spell is interrupted, wether close to my corpse or far. Do i need something like a coffin? does it bring my corpse back to me? Why does it always get interrupted

You must visit a merchant and purchase a Black Ceremonial Coffin. This coffin takes an entire inventory slot and disappears after the sucessful completion of the spell. You target any player up to level 35 and cast the spell. His corpse will appear at your feet. The player must have died in the same zone you are in, but will summon it to you.
With a CHA of 65, these coffins cost me just over 1pp each. What I do is charge 5pp to summon, or 4pp if they have a coffin (which most people don't)... I'm sure you could charge more, but I'm not in to raping people.

Ok, so "Lesser" Summon Corpse means that there is a level restriction up to level 35. Necro's get Summon corpse for after that, but is there any word if Shadowknights will be getting Summon Corpse as well? It doesn't make much sense to only give SK's the ability to summon corpse's from 1 - 35 and not give SK's the ability to summon higher player's corpse's. Does anyone have any info from Verant if this will be coming any time soon?

I found it in the underground of Qeyous, and the cost is 21pp. Some new spell also could be found in there.
hear ye hear ye! black ceremonial coffins are for sale in high pass keep, just inside the keep zone to the left there is a human vendor. I paid 1pp 6gp each, cheap huh?

Anyone try /target player's corpse ? I found out that I can locate corpse of someone not currently in the zone provided their corpse is. Maybe this will work the sameway. /target Friend's corpse...hit enter then cast the spell. Friend is the person's name...DO NOT FORGET to add the 's at the end of the name.

This would work if within a certain distance of the corpse. If able to target the player's corpse, you may as well just drag the body to wherever the player wishes, as you are close enuff for that to work.

Pretty sure i bought the spell and the coffin from the same dude in paineel. necro or sk guild, i forget which.
Dont forget, Large sewing kits can handle Giant items, as well as deluxe Tool boxes. Always have room for my Coffin's

I have seen thse coffins on the Gypsies in Oasis as my cleric but my dark elf necro couldn't talk to them becase they don't like me so it doesn't really help me at all
For Necromancers, get a Savant's Cap. Not only does this add INT, but it has effect: Reagent Consrvation 1, which has a 15% chance that a component from a spell won't poof. Very useful and when I does work, you'd be glad it did. Only spells up to lvl 20 will work, but yer using a lvl 12 spell so...

Ok I have a iskar necro and i have the spell... However I can't find the Black cerimonial coffins.. I was told they are on the moon.. however I am unable to find in Bazaar or Shadow Haven.. Can someone please point me to the closest vender to Cabilis...

The component can be found in grobb from one of the vendors in the area behind the bar. It costs a little over 1pp. Troll with 45 cha and warmly faction. When cast coffin will go poof and corpse will appear at your feet. You can summon corpses of other people but have to be in your group. The black cerimonial coffin is giant and cannot be stacked. Will try and see if it can be used on people above 35.
Yep, looks like this component is alsmot everywhere now. It was at 35pp, but it's only 1pp and change now. It doesnt stack and it takes up a whole inventory slot, like the other big coffins that cost mucho pp. I am a 35 necro on erollisi marr, and also have a necro on mith marr, both have current prices of 1pp and change. It summons a player's corpse, not only your own, to your feet, but you have to be in the same zone, and only for players up to level 35. I bought the spell in Neriak Third Gate, in the necro/sk guild house, off the vendor that sells the other necro spells for this level, but I forget his name. Hope this helps people.

This may seem pretty lame but, I.. am confused as to what this dose. I assume that you have to be in the same zone as your corpse and when the spell is cast it will put it at your feet. Correct? If not please help me out. Where can this the bought in Cab and the exact naem of the component price is not an issue. Thanks so much:)

Don't know about the coffin yet, but spell components are not always consumed by a spell. Ranger/Druid flame lick requires a fire beetle eye but does not consume it.
Can anyone tell me if the reagent is consumed here or not? Because if it is that really blows, 33 pp per casting is not a good thing.
33pp? My ogre SK got one for 1.5 plat. Where have YOU been?

For those that can go to Paineel the SK guild has the coffin too... also the spell. But if you have to buy a new coffin each time then maybe it isn't worth it... then again if you die and have no idea where you are.... locate corpse will be a problem and sometimes rez is not avail at the time...
I found the Lesser Summon Corpse spell in the SK/Necro Guild in Neriak/Third Gate. I don't remember the name of the NPC but you can find information at www.neriak.com. It is one of the NPCs that sells the fledgling Necro spells.

The Black Ceremonial Coffins used for this spell can be found in High Hold Keep, Qeynos, Rivervale (yes, Rivervale....dunno what the Halflings are doing with a Necro component but there ya go), Neriak (I think), and maybe somewhere else I can't remember right now.

Apparantly whenever you cast any spell that requires a component, the component is used up as soon as you click to cast the spell, not after the 'Casting Spell' line reaches the end. So if you cast this spell and are interrupted, the spell will fail and the Coffin will be used.
Apparantly this spell can only be cast in the same zone as the corpse you are trying to summon, and you must be targeted on the person whose corpse you are trying to summon.
Well, I think that's all I know about this spell for now. I am yet to use it myself.

I didn't understand the way the effect was written on this spell listing. To clarify, this spell can only be used to summon corpses of players lvl 35 and under.

Black Ceremonial Coffins can be found on the "bag lady" in Neriak Foreign Quarter (the human woman who sells boxes, bags, pouches, etc). They weigh 10, aren't lore, aren't containers, and cost around 35 plat depending on charisma.

This spell can be found on any Necromacer guild spell seller. Im not sure which one, but you can just "cycle" though their spells until ye find the right one. Don't hold me to it but in the Neriak 3rd gate necro guild I believe its the male standing in the corner behind the windowed wall ( the side with the most venders). If not...Just look at everyone's spells...

When i heard about this new addition to the necro spells I was overjoyed! But now I'm frantic =(. I tried casting this spell on myself and it seems i need a black cerimonial coffin, I have searched hihg and low for these, I'm almost positive they are not in Paineel, possibly Nek but i couldn't find it when i looked, and I have yet to check the Luclin NPCs, but I can not imagine a spell that can be bought in Nek, would only have components sold in Luclin. Does anyone know where these can be bought?!

You can find a black ceremonial coffin in the shadowknight guild in Paineel. They cost about 1pp 6gp. The guy that sells it also sells the lesser summon corpse spell. You need a general slot open to fit it. He is next to the door of the room that has the head shadowknight in it. I think his first name begins with a D and the last name ends with a V. Or visa versa can't remember:P.
