If you're level 39, and alone, DON'T try using this spell unless you know for certain that Wuoshi (level 60+ dragon) is not spawned at the time.
All ports to Velious are dangerous, but this one is ridiculous. Pop in here when Wuoshi is up, and you will be dead before you can blink.
You know, wizards are supposed to be intelligent. That being the case, don't you think they'd put their port locations somewhere where those who use them would survive the trip?
It's a cruel joke Verant like to play on us... give us gate/port spells 20 levels before we can actually go there and have a hope of surviving.
EDIT: Hmmm... it's been 4 1/2 years since I wrote this post. I've been gone a long time, and just renewed my premium status to be able to download my journal entries when I stumbled on this. Obviously some sort of re-org happened to the site since late '02, as the spell I was complaining about was a port to Velious, not whatever that "Vengeance X" spell is.

How does 50 Vengence X... have anything to do with Wuoshi at all? it doesnt even have anything to do with Kunark at all...

If woushi is up, and you are not friendly with CoV, you dont stand much of a chance to get out alive anyway.
WL port basically require CoV faction to be safe, just like other some ports require other factions.
And since Woushi is often killed on most servers, it is probably a safer port than skyfire for wizards.
