Huh?

All nine messages here have nothing to with Calamity or the one item that procs it (ok one mentions it in passing).

My question that is about the spell, I see many stun spells list the effect like this (1.00/55), which tells you what level mob the stun will effect. Why does this one not? Is the info unavailable, some default I don't know about, or does it just need to be updated?

This spell appears unresistable for any level, providing the mob can be stunned at all.

useing focus items with other items

I'm pretty well up on focus Items, I use a lot of them. I pretty much try to cover the entire range of them which can help each class of mine. On my Druid, I have a Mana 3 (which covers ALL spells, not just one type) a Healing 3, a Extra Dmg 3, which is for DD spells only, a Range 4(which allows you to outrange any NPC caster), and what is now called a "Burning Affliction" (used to be Extended Affiction). The new one is better, more Dmg in the same time instead of more Dmg but over a longer period.

Now, I also love clickables to save mana. And my Elder Spiritest Arms DO act with Burning Affic and Range, but NOT the mana saver since it uses no mana.

On Calamity, I have a Sturdy Wrapped Bow and wanted to see what the Proc was. My 44th Warrior has used it without it working so will try it on my 47th Ranger. I was told a totally wrong Proc, I'm glad I looked here.
Detrimental...

Pardon my ignorance, but what is a "detrimental HP spell"? is that a disease/poison based dot? Any dot?

It basically means, any spell that can remove hp's from a target will be affected. Regardless of what class the spell belongs to.
Do focus effects stack?
# Sep 29 2002 at 7:59 PM Rating: Decent
The is pretty much my question... Smiley: smile
If I have an item with Affliction efficiency I and II, do I get the effects of both?

Focus effects don't stack. Affliction efficiencies don't stack with previous ones and mana preservation and affliction efficiency don't stack either. Hope that helps.

Focus effects from items are enhancements to spells you already have(for a warrior that is NONE) so any faster cast time, mana saved, reagent conservation, etc, etc would be useless to a warrior.

Not to say that the items are not useful to a warrior for their other stats, just that focus effects won't do a thing for you. Unless they happen to work with a spell effect that you have on another item, possibly a lifetap/DD proc on a weapon? Anybody who knows if that is true or not please post to satisfy our curiousity.

i do believe i saw a monk friend of mine do a critical blast with one of his weapons procs, through the use of AAs. though, i dont believe a monk would get the spell casting fury or whatever that AA is, so i could possibly wrong. but i do believe he did a critical blast, because, come on, seeing a monk do a critical blast isnt something you just miss, or make up.

Ingenuity lvl 61/63/65 PoP aa for monks

This ability grants a melee user the ability to land a critical spell which is activated from a weapon proc or right-click item.

Dont know the effect focus effects have on proccing weapons though
