I love how Divine Aura, Barrier, Custody, etc.
all say Invunerability and not InvuLnerability.
How much longer - if ever - will it take to fix that typo?

With introduction of the TSS expansion Divine Aura icon now appears in the song buff window. When you zone it disappears. I have found this out the hard way trying to jump into the hole where I used to solo and now am unable to do so because of DA disappearing once I zone in.
Change to Divine Aura

I wait until after I zone to cast DA when jumping into The Hole. There is plenty of time to get the cast off when falling. Works everytime.

Does this work in PvP enviroment? Could be a get out of jail card, when ya get jumped by groups of peeps that hate you =)

If pally pulling heavy hitting mob (4 to 5K range) to raid party so then the warrior can get aggro. Monks do appreciate it and pally usefullness jumps way up in the high end game. Used this spell to pull Klandicar (only one in raid not KOS to him)and he didn't get a lick in. While warrior got aggro and you know what, I survived encounter, to surprise of all in the raid party. So yes this is useful.

ALSO: Wandering if you had this item and the spell can you cast both one after the other or will it effect the recast spell too. Would like to know if it doesn't, to be able to cast invulnerbility back to back would be awesome.

Ever jump into the hole? not without this you havent. =P also makes it possible to run like a scarred little ***** if you really need to.

It's actually possible (though takes a lotta practice,) to jump and land in the water without dieing.

Does anyone have first-hand knowledge on this? Can a mage, for example, cast offensive spells while invulnerable under Divine Aura? Or is this just a run-for-the-border spell?

Cannot cast or attack.

Its 18 seconds to sit, mem gate, and hope you don't get interrupted.

if a cleric casts Divine Aura on themselves then jumps from the top they land right next to the epic mob for bards and warriors and they are alive.

Im not denying its useful, but I just love it when a cleric jumps the gun, DA's! Then the group wipes out from no heals followed shortly by the cleric, hahah

Umm, then the cleric is an idiot, since you can click divine aura OFF yourself, then heal. You don't have to wait the whole duration, just long enough for a peel, mez or root.

Can I use a potion, like thurg gate, with DA on?

With this on, unless you are the only one there the mob will not hit you, but if you are alone and sit down he will hit you, and yes you will stand up

In all my levels as a cleric I can't think of a single spell that will save your life more, not even Gate. This will render you completely immune to all forms spells and physical damage.

I can't recommend enough always having this spell memorized and in a hot key.

Remember at all times though, not only are you immune to your enemies but also to your friends. You can't be healed or evac'ed with it on.

However you can, at any time, click it off. This can help a lot.

He, i agree... almost. divine barrier is better, as it also heals you for almost 1k and renders you invuln for 18 seconds, tho when in dangerous places, i memorize both as the recast time is too long, i use barrier first, then if neccessary aura, if aura gets activated i erase it and mem gate :) time to leave :)
