Our Charm undead spells really stink. MOST of the time my charm spells break and thats on DArk Blues. Also, when the mob you have charmed dies...you dont get any xp off it. These spells are only good (IMHO) for a place with a lot of mobs in concentrated area where the mobs would eat your pet in a sec. This spell can be very good in a dungeon area. Just make sure you have Feign Death up. I cast Beguile Undead..send in the mob then FD. Works pretty good that way.

FD now breaks charm immediately. This can be a good thing. If you're in a camp in a dungeon particularly, where the majority of the mobs are too high to charm but some are not, find one that is not, charm it, kill one with it, then FD. Charm breaks, you're completely safe, the mob regens to full. Recharm, kill another, repeat.

Is this a fixed duration spell or can it break anytime during the 15 minutes?
Actually i was told that the charm, fear, mez necro spells are affected by charisma.
The only diffenrence with chanters is that the less cha is the better :)
I guess that's why you see necro items with neg cha, such as hand of the reaper and the flayed skin armor.

is necro charm like enchanter charm based on chr?
that could be why our charms stink, due to the fact our chr is the suq our charm is the suq. if your going to be in a place where u think charm would be good get some chr bonus items and swap them in real quick charm and swap out.../shrug i dont even bother buying these spells cuz they are pure death for me.

It can and will break before the 15 minutes are over.
Sometimes it will wear off right after You cast it.
Still a great spell tough, this raises Your DPS a LOT in the right places.
If You're careful and always stay some distance away from Your charmed pet, You can Screaming Terror it and recharm easily.
Another tip: Keep the mobs that Your pet is fighting darknessed, so when charm breaks You don't have 2 unsnared mobs chasing You...
Sometimes it will wear off right after You cast it.
