As of the July 14 patch, the Sporali swarm pet's proc (Blast of Sporali Venom II) now has a -30 Magic resist check. Previously the check was 0.
Also, the Rk.II proc was bumped up to 2672 dd in January.
NOTE: As I write this the Live data on Lucy does not yet reflect the resist modifier change.

Ok i just spent 15k to buy rk.II of this in the baz and went and played with it. You cast on a mob and a sporali pet attacks it for about 30 seconds, 2 points of dmg on the cast similar to the mag and bst 20sec pet spells. The sporali only hits for 33pts though on newbie mobs and can't hit mobs anywhere near the level you get the spell. It does proc a 1690pt dd but only gets in 3 or 4 before it poofs.

spell gem dropped so i turned it in and the scroll says something about calling a sporali ally im only 81 so can't test yet. drop off a slug looking thing in lava nestling i think
