is this self only?

Target Type: Self

Yes, this is self only.

I have heard that casting this after already engaging a mob is a huge agro enhancer. So be warned. Or just do your own experimentation and have your own fun.

I've noticed that if I've previously been at the top of a mobs hate list, when I cast Force Shield I get aggro back for a second. This is in the same line of spells so it's probably the same effect I would guess.

Stacking: Block new spell if slot 5 is effect 'Mana' and < 20

this basically means that and mana regen in slot #5 on ur effects list that is mana and greater theb 20 mana (or 2 mana per tick) it will overwrite this.

The only thing i found that it doesnt stack with is Beast Crack

Yup this 'rune' doesn't stack with BST crack. However the lvl 63 spell Force Shield doesn't have any stacking restriction, so if a BST is near you'd be best off with using that spell over BoF.

Mana regen is only +2 on Force Shield but with the BST SD being +9 (?), you'll still gain +7more regen with BoF/SD....which is a good thing :P
...the loss of absorb dmg on Force Shield compared to BoF is barely noticable...
reagent?

Does this spell take a dot?

No, it takes no reagent whatsoever.
Casting Time

Casting time on the effect is 15 seconds... it should be listed on the item itself.
