Godain MacKodor, Common Spells, in Abysmal Sea, 10P and change.
Mizr N`Mar in the Neriak Third Gate, found him today use the find feature and you should have no problems.
My high elf chanter with Illusion: Dark Elf on was attacked and killed by the guards in Neriak Commons as he tried to cross the bridge into the commons area.
I guess I'll make a real DE to buy it...

I went in and got my spell with de illusion and invis while i traveled through thats the 3rd time i have done it with no issue's at all. Im a good race as well when i enter neriak commons i wait till i reach the discord to recast my illusion then jump into the water and go to the left to the docks and then head to third gate. I would keep up a illusion and invis till u get to merchant then the illusion should be good enough he conned indiff with no invis and illusion only.

Your death is not the first I've seen when Illusions are used. If you follow a "good" diety, then Illusions won't work when entering an "evil" based city . . . I learned this very recently when trying to help a friend chanter get the Tashinia spell quest done. If you are an agnostic, or an evil diety follower, then Illusions should be enough to get you buy in evil based cities. It is wise, as you suggested, to make a DE to retrieve items you need in Neriak, however, it won't work when you need to complete the Tashania quest, as all items involved in the quest are no drop. I have heard that there is a way around it, but I do not know the details. You may try to contact a chanter on your server who is alligned with a good diety, and ask (Sorry I'm not much help there, LOL).

The trick is not to enter Neriak Commons through the guard room. Instead, after entering the Commons--before the guard room, you cross a bridge. Instead of crossing, jump into the water and swim around to the right to a pier and a second entrance to the commons area. Once inside keep to the right--away from the guard room and circle around to the zone to the Third Gate and once inside the third gate-go directly to the library and find it.
