So I've used this song on both P99 and on Live. P99, it has a groupwide shrink. It will permanently shrink your group down 1 size even when it wears off. On Live, the shrink component doesn't exist. Huge disappointment. The rune of this does stack with shield of songs though. Otherwise mostly useless on live. On P99, super useful on raids. 1 song to shrink everyone down a bit. Hope live dev's patch this to make it useful.

The way I see this song is that A) i think it might stack with other DA's...i'm not sure but what's the point of being a bard if not for all the cool stackable spells? B) If used by itself you can consider it more of a melee version of regular old Shield of Words...maybe the 18agi 9ac adds up to more than 8 DA...

This song should shrink you as well. Maybe then people would actually use it.

As a small note to those who havn't bought this song. This song does infact absorb dmg, but the problem with that is that the song will disappear (after taking the 12 dmg). It's a very horrible song to play when you are fighting a mob with a DS (unless it is removed, go ahead and keep singing, otherwise you should have stuck with Shield of Songs or anything else that would help).
So keep in mind, only the rogues, monks, hopefully yourself , and any other class not getting aggro will get the effect of this song.

other than the dmg shield there is only +agi and +ac. What's the point of agi and ac if you're not getting attacked?
NOT a damage shield.
It's a Rune shield ... meaning it absorbs dmg. Not deal dmg when ur attacked

Actually the opposite is true- a person not being hit by the time this song's effect fades has no benefit from this song during that pulse. This song benefits those who get agro by reducing the damage taken from said ds'es. It expires quickly 'cause it's working.
