Greater Vocaration Air  

In addition to the "Magicians Only" listed, there is a combine that will work for any intelligence caster.

In a spell research kit, combine:
Conjuring Thickener,
Ink Additive of the Nameless,
Ink of the Companion,
Ink of Xegony,
Runic Papyrus and
Quill of the Arch Convoker.

This recipe trivials at 211. I figured this out by looking up another Magician Air Pet spell for a different level. I simply replaced the parchment in the recipe with a parchment appropriate for 59th level spells (Runic Papyrus).

is it only reserch or can you buy it

decent pet, doesnt tank as well as 57 earth, though it has pretty nice tanking abilities. i prefer it over earth on SD plateu, the stun and not rooting then down when they run help. he seems to dodge more than earth (confirming what most people say) but has about the same miss-wise. hits pretty constantly, though not as high as earth. this is an excellent group pet, especially from the stun, though i havent tried water and i am sure it does better if its constnatly behind the mob.

approx hp: 2600 (from mages tower)
max hit: 63
stun has DD component

to give an idea about tanking, i did 2 fights each for earth (57) and air (59)

earth took 1100 and 1600 damage total, average hit (on him) 63
air took 1600 and 1700 damage total, average hit (on him) 70ish-80ish

again, from SD plateu, which the mobs there vary (sometimes you get harder revnants, test only tested against revnants not reavers or named). air seemed to vary on how much he got hit, while earth was consistant, likely due to stun.

when you get this pet, a good place to hunt is on SD plateu, i am AAing there and i intend to until i get pet disc. it starts turning light blue around 59. a few named drop some nice stuff, one that i got sold for 750pp easy in bazaar. you can almost efficiently heal pet up here instead of chain cast, its about the same mana-wise accounting for DS and whatnot.
