Well i hit for around 1450 with Shock of Steel, so im guessing i should hit for 1600+ with this np. Im lvl 57 btw

Ok im lvl 60 now and hit for over 2k with this spell its by far the best nuke u can get for a while.

ok is it just me or do bolt spells all hit right after the casting time goes off, and so i guess thsi nuke doesnt actually do 1607 dmg, i was going to say #$#$ off #%$%$@@ if mages really got a 1.6k nuke before lvl 60
The cast time on this seems excessive. It looks like it will be quite a nice spell, when you can keep a clear LOS the entire cast time.
This one will take some fancy footwork.
added 1/25: I now have this spell. With an improved damage item, the spell lands for as much as 1228.

I'm totally okay with wizards out nuking me. After all, we have Puff the wonder pet adding to our DPS.
Not to mention we don't have to provide taxi service.
