LOL I was browsing the bazaar and got this one for 100pp! I couldnt believe it when I saw it. I have had this spell for a long time and will be getting ready to ding 59 in a couple days finally! So I lucked out. BUt then sitting in the bazaar looking for deals sometimes pays off.I have since seen the spell for about 500pp to 50000pp so... go figure.
After using this pet more, Id' like to say that he does NOT ENRAGE when he gets weak, or shield other players. I've let him get beat down to 10% by a teal and he didnt' enrage, hes also died several times in battles and doesnt enrage. He does not shield players either, I've let myself get beat down to 10% and he doesn't shield, when almost standing on top of him, I've seen other players die standing right next to him. I don't know if it was removed, or always like this, however.
I think the whole enraging and/or shielding starts on its upgrade at 61, this being your demo or trial version of spectra:).
He also does NOT cost a dot anymore. It says it on spell info on spell itself when I look at it, and scroll version of it, but it does not consume a dot, or require that I even have one on me. It didn't matter to me if he did or didn't(dots arent expensive at this point), but I thought I'd say that. Alla seems up to date on it though, Peridot isn't listed as a regeant above.

this spell is ussualy only 700p on my server.
This is huge upgrade. if you are tired of sucky pets in 50s, you can get your hopes up for this guy you won't be disappointed. He can actualy take it because hes warrior, he hits harder then rogue or monk, and looks very kewl. He hits up to 69 straight on, and 25dmg bash/kick added too. Be sure to keep taunt off if your kiting, his taunt looks to be like twice as strong as last pets, or somewhere in there. he gets aggro really good.
I see alot of posts about this spell costing alot or something, on my server hes cheap, lvl61pet is cheaper though. I wouldn't recommend skipping this pet one bit, makes lvl59 and 60 much easier.

Has 2700HP Hits for 69 and bashes for 40. The bash can interrupt spell casting. Skills: Bash, Double Attack, Dual Wield, Lifetap, Fearless

This can be researched for under 1.5k and sells for around 3k on bazaar. Makes sense since the 61 pet is both cheaper and much more effective. No one in their right mind would pay 40k for a spell that would become outdated in 2 levels.

i just recently dinged 60, so i've had my share of soloing w/ all our pets from the 49th to EoT... I agree with several posts i've seen before, if u can get EoT cheaply, i'd say go for it, but if u have more patience than i did, just wait for LoZ at 61 and save ur plat for both EoT and the dots he costs :-(. Eot is a much better tank than our skeleie pets, but his low lvl (lvl 47 i believe) lets him get hit for max far too often when fighting 50+ mobs (i live in nadox undead camps, and EoT gets hit for 100+ rather often). oh, i got mine on CT server for 1.5k in bazaar.

This has been droping in price ever sence It became reshearhable. I got my for 2k, and it was selling for 1.8k. last night
They regularly go for under 1k on the nameless. I got mine for 500pp. Cant wait till 59 to be able to use him.

ok so this is spectre pet.. how does it compare to the servant of bones..which is better... or for what situation... always curious

You can drop all your other pets for this one. He hits more frequently than all the others before him so he can actually outdamage the rogue pet even from behind though he isnt doing it by backstabs. He also can tank much better than the monk pet so you dont need him for that. All in all drop all the previous pets for this guy.
Once you get LoZ you can drop EoT. I have seen LoZ eat EoT's lunch so you have something else to look forward to when you hit 61 as well.

EoT or a Dire Charm Pet ?
If you can dire charm, then he is by far the best. Charming is better still, but an unruly charmed pet can get you and your group killed if charm breaks at the wrong time esp if he is hasted.
However, if you can't dire charm, and you don't want to take the chance on charming then EOT would be a good choice pre 61 when we get LoZ.
Servant of bones has been good to me in non pop zones, but I will be glad for the change. In PoP our 56, 53, and 49 pets are all jokes.

Spectre pet, very rare spell, also very expensive :(
was selling for 8500 on my server only 1 available in bazaar.Then I saw 2 others 3200 and 3500.Figures I was 1000 short on cash so I went to my trader mule and gotmrid of junk to merchants and also killed a lot of stuff real fast in CS for gems to get the pp.To my suprise It was still there for the 3200.Had to get it fir grinding out till 61.It's a shame we gotta fight these hard azz mobs to get a spell.I just rather spend the pp then to waste all that time hoping it might drop off a mob that has 70 other spell drops.And old SEB soloing at 59?Forget it.
