Just got earlier today, EVERY PULL I have done using this has resulted in EVERYTHING in the AoE being pulled, COMPLETELY USELESS .... doughnut hole ... WTF, will continue to pull will dispel, just as effective and faster!

The HA changes seem to have settled after a lot of Dev fiddling.

With the launch of House of Thule, the primary AE lull effect (trigger) was nudged to work up to level 90 mobs. It is still 12 reaction radius. At one point the Devs explained that when you hit a mob with HA, any mobs OUTSIDE a 12 radius around your target will be hit with the trigger. Any other mobs INSIDE the 12 radius will not. This issue has been lovingly referred to by the Ranger community as the "doughnut hole".

There *are* still occasional failures on mobs outside the 12 radius depending on terrain, obstacles or other random glitches. One example of this can be demonstrated by HA pulling in Korascian Warrens, just out front of the zone to Rathe Council Chambers. The uneven ground and pits where mobs hang out can bring multiple enemies in cases where only 1 should pull. It is sometimes as if the AE trigger on HA is using line of sight.

During testing in Spring 2010, I found that HA was overwriting other Pacify/Harmony type spells. On request, the Devs changed the spell slots to correct this stacking issue.

HA is still a usable AA, but it no longer functions as the description would imply. As of 24 October 2010 this AA's description stands as follows:

"This ability provides you with a magical arrow that will be able to draw a single target from a group of enemies. This ability works on targets that are level 85 or lower."

Obviously this is not correct. Multiple requests for the Devs to change the "single target from a group" text have thus far produced no changes. Also, the "level 85" text should be changed to reflect the new "90" cap for HoT.

PLease everyone, send FEEDBACk on the game tell them to give it back!. Without my friends ranger arrow we can't even play in most areas can't get my essences. Plus all anyone wanted ranger anymore was because of this one thing!

An AA refund is a joke. They damaged functionality to a class that relied on it heavily. Then they say "live with it for at least 30 days"... just before they roll out anniversary content. I cancelled all three of my accounts. I renewed one for one month to see what they do in the April patches. I have no faith they will fix this with anything but a bandaid...

i loved this AA and it was one of the only reasons that I tried to get to lvl 85. Had not played for awhile and over the last few days I have been playing and pulling mobs and I noticed that this AA was not doing what it use to. I still see the short term effects on the mob but that sucker is not comming back to me single, NO WAY.

I thought maybe something was off so came here to see that SOE has done it again, screwed me. They break headshot with Hail line and now this. I guess they want us to hang up our bows and become zerkers. This really upsets me seeing as our harmony line does not even work in the high end zones now so we have zero pulling tacktics left except for snare a bunch, root one and zone, YAY, I am lvl 30 all over again.

To bad, was wonderful while it lated. I am just totally confused as to why?

There are supposedly test server pulling options right now but I have no faith that sony will fix or restore this ability. The mass exodus of Rangers will not likely wake Elidroth up either. He is apparently proud of his meddling because he defends these changes vigorously.

I do not understand with so many servers becoming less and less populated that Sony/Soe can justify nerfing the one thing that made it possible for groups, guilds, and game wide players to be able to have the potential to single pull mobs. The mobs are hard enough at times and to now get multiple due to the arrow not working and our cover tracks not always reliable, we are back to dying in the game over and over and accomplishing nothing. Those who took the time to post all over the forums complaining that the arrow was too powerful I can only hope that you didn't benefit from it's use on any level because if you did in any way you are a hypocrite. I as a ranger tried to figure out how to pull without my arrow and with the mobs in the newest expansion it just isn't possible for me in many situations/camps. I would like to know if Sony intends to at least give us part of the arrow ability back???

I just can't believe that there is not a post here already. This single AA changed the entire game for me. My Ranger can actually pull now. The 2 min refresh keeps it in line, but when this is ready, I'm the guild puller. Monks and Bards rest while I do my thing.
