There is absolutely no point to this spell. The level 52 charm spell charms up to level 53 mobs. If your argument is: The charm lasts longer: No, just no. The only argument that would apply to is if you want a nearly permanent pet and low and behold: Boo-boo Bear(the Druid Bear Pet) is the same level as this charm, give or take 3 levels, so there's no legitimate point in investing in this spell, because Boo-boo Bear is a permanent pet, I wouldn't even waste money on it, just live with the 52 charm or Boo-boo Bear.

This spell was around before Boo Boo. So it has some function if you are on a pre-velious server.
If you are searching for this spell in the bazaar, make sure you use the 'Grave Accent' that is found on the tilde key on the keyboard. For whatever reason, it was not programmed with the apostrophe shared with the parenthesis key. Or you can just search for 'tunare'.

Why would I want to charm only up to level 35?When I can use other charm spell that charms stuff in PON?I'f I'm charming a level 35 most likelt theres no xp for me there.ok duration looks nice but thats about it.And for farming?Just blow quad nukes.So whats the point of this spell?
because when it came out, it was good.
Since druids weren't meant to be a pet class, it wasn't supposed to be a huge help. But fighting in places like burning woods, you could go to the other end of the zone and grab a charmable to go back and help you exp on the other side.

Hi there! I'm a lvl 55 druid that was recently introduced to Plane of Nightmare and the Stalker camp (looks like werewolves). I have been successfully charming the Stalkers with Call of Karana (lvl 52 spell) which Allakhazam says has a duration of 16.6 mins @L52 to 20.5 mins @L65. HOWEVER, when I attempt to use Tunare's Request (lvl 55 spell), it has been getting resisted so far 100% of the time (and yes i'm using Glamore of Tunare to pull). Since the duration fo Tunare's Request is considerably longer (2 hour(s) 45.0 mins @L55 to 3 hour(s) 15.0 mins @L65), I would like to use this spell instead.
Does anyone know why Tunare's Request may be getting resisted so much?

max level of mob you can charm with this spell is lev 35, PoN mobs are much higher level.
The spoell initself last about 185 minutes on mobs up to lvl 35. When the charm breaks you get NO agro, wich can be a benefit.
However like any charm it can wear off prematurely limiting it's use compared to your behest wich is suprisingly also a lvl 35 pet.
It's as stated not usable for charming static ravens nor mobile ravens in PoN. You can use Tunbare's Command for the static ones or use the lvl63 command of karana to charm both.
Direcharm won't help you much in PoN as the only mobs are the level 46 bats wich can be charmed. Unles you are in a group where it is nice added dps and you don't have to worry about charmbreaks.
(small treefrogs in PoV are also nice to dc if you are in a group though mostly i only see it's undead cousin up)
Back to the value of this spell, it's quite limited and in my idea it's better to keep the money and save up for nature's behest since that is a permanent pet and you don't have to worry about charmbreaks nor finding a charmable mob. The only advantage i have seen so far is that some pets charmed with this spell seem to have a higher dps then our litle pet. Another advantage of our pet is that it can be summoned over the zone with summon companion while charmed mobs can't be summoned.

For some odd reason... I didn't see all the posts for this spell before my prior post. I suppose this being a spell that charms mobs up to lvl 35, kinda tells me this "upgrade" isn't so hot. I'll have to look forward to the next charm spell i guess.

as of 7/14/04 a charmed griffawn in EK would break it before it gets to its first victim.
would be indeed very nice for farming if it lasted a fixed period. (the below mentioned 2h+)

this is nothing but a usual charm spell that works on animals up to lvl 35. it also won't cause aggro after breaking, but which lvl 55 druid would have problems recharming a lvl 35 mob, whether it is attacking him or not??

ok, some of you are talking about "Dire Charm" is this a spell for druids? If it is where do you get it and what lvl is it cause I cant find anything on it.
Dire charm is an AAXP ability, lv59 cost is 9aaxp.

Mobs in PoN are too high for TR. CoK or CoT are the only Druid spells that will charm Blood Ravens and Nightstalkers. Dire Charm works on the Young bats and does pretty well with buffs.

i usually go to PoN solo when i can get the nightstalkers open to just me, charm one with the lvl 52 druid spell, then haste it, not i can normally kill 2 with that one and it still have a little bit of life left, just break charm and go charm another, you can get UBER xp this way as a druid. i went from lvl 59 to lvl 60 in just 8 hours doing this solo and mana was never a problem since all you have to do is a few points DD to each target your pet kills (druid root spell) can kill non stop as long as you have KEI and own the entire camp killing them as soon as they pop, not to mention all the phat gem drops you get to keep all to yourself like this =) but anyhow, i haven't tried to do aa's like this solo yet, when i do LOOK OUT should be amazing, just have 18aa's right now, gonna try to get 12 in one night like this sometime soon to top off another aa ability, hopefully it's duable

There's alot of confusion surrounding this spell. Can someone here clear it up?

Posters here seem to be saying they use it on mobs in PoN and PoD.

I think this spell just does not work, period. When I cast on mobs in Kedge, I get a response of...this spell is TOO HIGH for this creature...then the mob attacks! Yeah right!, i want to see Wizzy's get messages that say, "ice Comet is too high for this rat"
So, the spell does not work on high level creatures and does not work on low level creatures. Verant....YEAH YOU!...WHATS THE POINT?

This charm last 2hr 45min. at lvl 55 and 3hr 15min. at lvl 65.
You can't charm anything over lvl 35 with it. Making it of a somewhat limited use.
It's a very nice spell to farm some crafting components in lower lvl zones, until you can get dire charm.

Most of the wandering Raven's are too high to charm I think, find the static spawns, I have been able to charm all of them

I have a lvl 59 Druid and do it all day long,,, just keep Charm memed, have C3, PoTC and Form of the Howler up for max Mana Regen and its a Breeze,,, just remember, after about every two or three kills, hide to break mez and resnare.... wish I had Dire Charm :),,, then wouldn't have to worry about that :)

anyone know if a 61 druid can charm blood raven and solo in PoN like this?

actualy yes its good exp for me at 61 in PoN kiting ravens. however the mana / time / exp ration is not as good as it is when a Chanter or shammy duo there with me, i have them Pull and i keep tabs on the pet and adds, i snare and root, and debuff(hand or Ro) thay Slow and debuff. with this tactic i can quite often get 2 to 3 aa in a night duoing there. (best i ever got in 1 long nite was 6 aa)
but u can NOT use Tunares request for this kind of charming, nor can u use DC. u have to use the 52 or 63 charm spells call of karana or Command of Tunare
now if i find this spot taken on Bertoxx every time i go there now after posting this im guna be pissed. this is my spot its like NEVER camped on bertoxx. and i almost never have to wait for repops.
i have goten over 50 AA's there in the last few weeks doing this and leveled a chanter friend to 57 from 46 here (Foxeyone)
