It doesn't seem to work in pvp anymore against PC pets anymore either. This nerf is recent cuz it worked like a month ago.
Just thought I would let yall in on a use for this. The other day while I was in BoT with guild we were helping out mr. Karana and if yall didn't see it, on the way up to him you had to break some green conned gates that mobs would come through.... guess what spell ya use to destroy these...

My guild on Stromm recently raided the Overthere Outpost, just for kicks. I believe this spell dropped off of the Golems at the gates. Could have been off of the General or Admiral, but pretty sure it was the golem.

From what I have read, this spell seems useless. It has a ridiculously high resist rate, long refresh timer, expensive component, and results in absolutely no xp or loot from mob. It would have to be a really dire situation for me to rely on this spell in any capacity, IMHO of course.
Has anyone had success with this? Seems like we are hearing a lot of "resist" stories. For the mana and gem cost, it sure sounds like the proverbial ring-toss at the county fair.
With the only prize being one less hoop to toss the ring on next time. Max level of this spell's target is 45. At that point, I just Root things and pretend they don't exist.

tried using this on fire elementel in BOT the other day after i petted it and broke ,he did have burnout 5 on him so not taking chances i cast mala - unresistable- the cast banishment , the git resisted and allmost wiped my grp = not impressed at all. lvl 65 Arch Convoker

I used this in a PoJ trial, and the damn rock thing resisted it. I'll have to agree with the earlier post about using malos on them first, cause that mob got pissed and slaughtered me. I think any spell that's going eat an expensive component, plus have a 2 minute recast time ought to be unresistable, but that's just my opinion.
Well... The regeant cost doesn't thrill me. But if you're willing to go to the extreme of actually using this spell on a mob. It better be worth it. This would probably help in those elemental planes where there are large summoned type monsters. That's my god damned opinion and I'm sticking to it =P
Inflicts damage on 59 and lower mobs that are summoned. Mob pets, Rock-type mobs, Elementals, or any other mob that can be struck by the existing line of damage summoned spells. It's not known how much this DD is for. Some estimate it at 30k, but since there are really no summoned mobs below 59 with those hitpoints there's really no way to tell. Have fun with it, especailly good when you want to get rid of mobs quick (like PoJ trials - while they last). Best way is to have someone else malo it beforehand, resisted makes mob kinda angry at you.
Also require a component of a Star Ruby... so you don't go PLing yourself with it :)

seems like a good spell for baddies with pets I hope it doesn't have a lvl max
If so what lvl is the maxium lvl affected?
