i really enjoyed playing the fire pet for the first time. Nukes for 2334 most of the time and very often. Hits for 256 if the mob is next to it using minion of eternity focus. Spell range seems decent also.

With the start of Secrets of Faydwer, our fire pet was revamped once again:
It now casts a firebased, mana free DD, instant cast with a 5 sec recast. It does not buff itself anymore, it does not cast random DDs, it just chains this one spell. As soon as it get the /pet attack order it will root itself!!!
You can reposition it with /pet backoff.
Kindle and Blazing Stance will become useless today!
So make sure, that our druids firedebuff the targets, and use their epics!

This could be the most destructive one among 4.It can produce 460+ DPS even without any pet focus(well,pet focus is meaningless to this pet anyway.It will cast the same nuke no matter what Focus you are using.).I am saying this from a source of Eqsummoner.com so it might be wrong(not likely tho),but Fire pet might be the best one a casual Mage can get if all you care is DPS.Tho it wont tank as good as those 3 others,so this would be limited to group+raid situation.
