LOL, if it was intended for pets, it would have been none/none instead of all/all. This is a range item resist intended for players in the VELIOUS era.

Summoned: Shard of the Core
Effect: Ultravision (Worn)
WT: 0.1 Size: TINY
Class: ALL
Race: ALL

Rare drop: Waking Lands off "the Holgresh"
and Cobalt Scar off the Sirens

Rumor has it that it drops in Skyshrine from the Gargoyle guards I have not been able to verify this.

You can buy it at the bazaar not cheap though usually 300pp-1,000pp.

theres summoned item is way better than this core, called Summoned: Orb of Exploration... thats grants you to see invis, vision like Dark Elf only if u worn on it. and also have yellowish magic on the hand like monk and Beastlord's hand to hand... thats from LDoN in EF i frogot how much for points to spend :) i hope this is helpful 8)

Because being able to put this into the ammo slot would make it too powerful.

Actually, items put into the Ammo slot on't give stat bonuses and whatnot while in the slot.

Yeah -- and that would make it the same exact benefit as a summoned coldstone... eh?

A nice upgrade to the coldstone that we blind erudite and human mages have to summon and lug around.

The problem is finding/purchasing it. It is a rare drop from the Holgresh in Waking Lands, and Sirens in Cobalt Scar. I've heard it drops in Skyshrine from the Gargoyle guards as well. You can also find it at the bazaar for unbelieveable sums. Once I saw it for 1k, but usually for around 300-600pp.

<plead>If you do happen to get this spell to drop, be kind and sell it to a mage for less than 100pp</plead>

Dumb slot
# Jan 08 2003 at 7:04 PM Rating: Default
Ok, at first glance this appears to be an upgraded coldstone spell. Ultravision with some extra stats. BUT, it will only go into the RANGE slot. A slot, which I'm sure, most mages have already filled with a far superior stat item. Why, could it not go into the same slots as the coldstone series?

I personally agree with this sentiment. I won't be trying to get the spell because I won't give up my range slot to use the item. If I had to pay for the spell I wouldn't pay more than 50pp.
