Just compared this with my Giant Green Drum Drogmor and the Drum was faster.

its a bit faster then sow, im guessing by about 5%, sow cast by level 66 was slower then this mount.

Meditate ability?

Dose this creature work the same way a horse mount works? Can you med on it and cast spells when mounted?

Yes you can cast and med on it. The only difference between mounts that I am aware of is the model they use and the speed that they move.

I feel that its about sow's speed. Its not slow i can say for sure :) Quite like it.
