After testing the spell it works like this:
- Stacks with Mental Horror and Shroud of the Nightborn (which dont stack with each other).
- On the proc it does some damage and triggers the recourse; it does not provide mana like Mental Horror.
- The recourse lasts 2 ticks and heals you for 10% of your melee damage (only the first hit on a double or triple attack), except on the first swing, where the heal effect is higher.
So it is not an upgrade to Mental Hooror, but an alternative to our other selfbuff line, if we want manaprocs and more heal procs than TotC can provide.

This spell is sold by Trader Leanian in Katta Castrum for 150 Orux, you must have Indifferant faction with her to see the spell for sale.

not exactly.. this is the rank 1 version, so it's actually from Halon Griere in the buried sea. Trader Leanian sells the rk. II version.

this is an upgrade for mental horror...when it procs the initial dmg heals your mana pool then while on recourse you get the leechcurse disc effect
Alla has this listed as a DS spell as of February 25th, however when the NDA was lifted all good little sks found out that this is another self buff lifetap type spell and February 13th when the expansion was released it was confirmed. This spell is now Marrowthirst horror. It stacks with all other self buffs and does around 380ish damage and gives you a temporary buff that heals you for 10% of your melee damage for the next 10 swings.
Fire Dot WTF? I would rather have a new Snare or upgrade to Decrepit Skin or Mental Corruption. So typical, devs don't know what we need now we get a Fire dot which could of replaced or upgraded a line we need.
