As far as I can determine, based on visits to four merchants, the correct price for this spell is 1.1.6.1... Both Freeport vendors had it listed as this as well as the two Library merchants...

Best advice I can give any caster, every 5 levels (or more if needed) stop the leveling and catch up your casting skills.
I go to PoK I have a Spell set called PRACTICE. I load the lowest level of each spell skill type.
Then I cast on the guards away from everyone else or go in the Library and cast on one of the vendors in the back. You max your skills, you are more effective to your groups and your guild.

Can this spell be cured if cast on you? Counteract disease or curse maybe?
Cancel Magic can remove it, but odds are high you will remove all your other buffs before removing this one. However, if it's the only thing cast on you (or you have the mana to rebuff) then it's a way to remove it. Did this just last night in Highkeep since I was just self buffing for most the night. At one point I had some shammy buffs so I didn't bother and just toughed it out. Gnome power! Gno Mercy for the weak! :)

2 words ... trash buff. put a worthless buff on yerself first and then get all other buffs ... cancel trash buff and the debuff will go in the first slot ... thus you can cancel it and not yer buffs.

I don't know about you other level 24 mages, but my Alteration skill is LOW. (Like 20 or 30 I think.) So this spell has been a fizzle fest of the worst mana-draining kind.
Did everyone else have to discipline to max out all five spell skills before using this a lot?

spell does not stack with the tash spell line. One piece of advice i can give to you about this spell is to get it. If you go to HHK at at about this level (or just about anywhere else) mobs really like to resist your spells.
That's odd. Every other Malo-line spell stacks with evey other tash-line.

This spell is also found at the vendor Mistic Pikor in Plane of knowledge. It is spelled differentlly though, Malaise.
