Dropped in Boneyard in Direwind off the gnolls there. Good camp. But usually you need to able to handle double pulls all the time. They also dispell.

OMG are you retarded? Your level 73 upgrade to Screaming Terror (with an included chance to memblur) requires this. While it might be nice to hand out clickable 850 hit heals to your group being able to mesmerize mobs to level 73 is hugely useful.

So why would we want this spell when it's severely inferior to the Soul orb and Shadow orb spells? 4x longer recast, lore item, and you can only get it with a killshot on plants or animals.

the lifeshard is randomly created. it doesn't require a kill shot or any specific level of critter to create one. I seem to get a lifeshard once in 3 or 4 casts, even off lvl 1 critters.
