At 76 in exp groups I have 1 or 2 spell gems that I never really use. So, with that in mind, I don't think this song is worthless. It just depends on your situation and what you're trying to accomplish. Here's why it's NOT worthless for me:
1. I box with a bst, tank merc, and cleric merc.
2. When I'm grinding or running missions, I always pull multiple mobs. I usually have 2-4 in camp.
3. Inevitably, something goes wrong. Maybe I get an add, or a couple of slow resists that cause the cleric to go oom, or something like that. When that happens, I need to burn mobs down fast. That's when I start hitting all the AA dps utilities that I have, the dps discs, etc.
4. I have about an 11-12k mana pool, and it NEVER goes low normally. I very rarely have to fade, so I always have 90-100% mana. So with that said, if it comes time to burn mob downs fast then I can throw this into my twist. Then, suddenly, I'm doing 2258 damage every 3 seconds to every mob around me. Add maxed spell crit AAs (for my level) to the equation, and it adds a really hefty boost to my dps burn.
So, as usual, when someone says a song is worthless I'm left saying that it just depends on your situation. Almost every song has some purpose and some use.

sorry make that 29k raw damage in 15 seconds with a potential 58-72k in crit damage wizards dream of that kind of DPS even if they could only do it once every few hours and with rest you can do this once every couple minutes or max 5 if you're on a raid.

singing mod of 25 like most bards have at this lvl + amp of 11 + resonance of 6 which every bard should have at this lvl = 38 which i believe is 1 over the cap....you add in AA and i believe the cap is somewhere around 43 or 44....so 1258 x 4.4 = 5535. Suppose that crits with max AA i think that's an additional 2.5 multiplier or at least 2.0 for a total of 10-15k nuke just for 2k mana. I don't know about you but i can cast that thing 5 times before I'm OOM and that's every 3 seconds no recast time whatsoever so that's 23k raw damage before crits in 12 seconds from the beginning of the first cast and a potential 46-58k max crit. YOU WISH stop bagging on a spell that you know you use and if you don't then you need to learn about maximizing your potential.
