Army of the Dead

This ability calls up to five shades of nearby corpses back to life to serve the necromancer. The soulless abominations will mindlessly fight the target until called back to the afterlife some time later. The first rank summons up to three shades that serve for 60 seconds, and each additional rank adds one more possible shade and increases their duration by 15 seconds.

Hi looking for answer to this question. Does the aa pet that is raised be it what ever do damage of the previously living mob, or is it based on a capped, pet damage of so and so. So if i did this aa on a bunch of lvl 75 anguished geared bodys. Would my raised anguish pets do anguish pet damage or a set limited damage made out by a max on the aa ? Any answers helpful. Also could i use this on say Named mobs against named mobs ?

I know this thread is almost 2 years olds...but. No the shades are not as powerful as they were in their former lives, however the AA has been changed to allow the shades to be given more power as the AA advances so it's possible to get them close now. As far as the named, the AA doesn't care who the mob is, it just picks 3, 4, or 5 mobs and makes them shades. I have had named mobs come back as shades before.
