I understand there is a way of changing your specialization and has something to do with the temple of solosek ro, anyone have any info on this please?

Alteration
someone in the temple will knock your specialization down to 50 so you can get another one above the 50 mark.
Does anyone know why the skill level numbers are different between the ones you see on the chat screen and the ones you see when you're training? For instance on the chat screen it says. You have increased your skill in alertation (62). But at training sessions, the box for alteration training has 92 in it? Which is it? AND which of these numbers applies when it comes to specializing?

Wandered in Here thinkin What the Heck could anyone have to say About Alteration...If Ya really need ta know ...take yer lvl one spell and cast it over and over and over andover..skill will stop raising at 5 plus your lvl times 5 .. level up and ad infintum
16 years later I am here looking for information on skillups and if level of spell made a difference with how much skill up you gain per cast... Thx

The most you'll ever skill up per cast of a spell is one skill point.
