so with the upcomming server merges, if it happens anything like it did on zek... the world is about to be turned upside down. places like WoS in the "prime time" hours are gonna be severely packed i think... although maybe now i'll be able to snag those MPG groups that keep evading me. anyways, just wondering what everyone/anyone thinks about it. btw if i'm ever on and anyone needs a 66 druid and/or 66 chanter, then holla, i'm always game for EXP if i'm raiding.

Hi Drinal Server friends!
I'm a 24 cleric on this server and have just been given my very own guild! Yay! I have found about 20 members so far but am hoping it will keep on growing!
If you want to join just hail myself (Lorenee) or my officers (Postie and Beneb). I have no restrictions on race or class or diety and we are all just in it to help one another out! (And to do raids and stuff together when we get high enough!!) It's mostly newbies at the mo!!
Well I'm also just starting up a website for us so when it's up and running - take a look!

Thanks for reading!

RE: $$$$$

Ebay is one place many get it. Another is the get a ubber drop at higher levels and sell it. Yet another way is they farm low level zones with high level characters.

Rathe Mountains : 1KPP=4 hours
OOT Cyclops: 600PP to 1200PP = 4 hours
Sol A: 400PP= 1 hour(spawns are slow)

Dude, RM - 1k in 4 hours? WTF?! I get atleast 3k every 2 hours(55 Mage/53 BST).. I usually get 5-6k every night I hunt in RM..Granted I hunt at 5 AM and the zone is empty :) BUT STILL!! 1k in 4 hours? Damn thats slow as hell man..

I played EverQuest a little over 1/2 an year ago and quit, because I didn't have time. I now have some extra time on my hands so I'm playing again. When I had been playing, I went on the Drinal Server. I tried other servers, but I just seemed to be attached, so I stayed with Drinal. Since I'm coming back, I have to create a new character, and I want to ask if the Drinal Server still has a moderate amount of people.

Thank you,

The Drinal server has a pretty good sized user base. This is both good and bad. First, if you want to get in a group, it's usually pretty easy, even in obscure out of the way places. However, some of the more popular spots are usually camped.

Do you play on Quellious ?
# Oct 02 2002 at 6:32 AM Rating: Decent
I have just transferred my main character from Drinal to Quellious. I am looking for people who are on Quellious, to trade items that I have on Drinal. So, if you play on Drinal more, you may be interested in what I have. Most of the stuff is for WIS class (I was a druid) or INT class (Mage/enc/nec/wiz).. and I have some GOOD stuff... Crimson Robe Of Adeline, Coldain Skin Gloves, lots of stuff.. I priced it, over 45k worth of stuff. Will sell LOW and make awesome deals! Email me! Thx.. Aerious (Druid on Quellious)

Twinked
# Aug 20 2002 at 11:57 AM Rating: Decent

"Well Elendil, I fully agree with you: 450pp is a lot of money for a lvl 6 bard. I guess it all comes down to that: a kpp is common for a level 50, but quite a lot for a level 10 unless he/she is twinked."

I disagree with that. I have about 500pp in the bank, and I've spent about 300pp more. I'm not twinked at all. There's a great spot to camp in Butcherblock where you can get about 100pp per hour of camping. I've camped there quite a bit, and that's where my money has come from. I'm sure there are other camping places good for fast plats in the game as well.

Does anyone know if EQ gave a complete guild list per server free? It would be so handy to have some kind of billboard per server with the guilds and their goals and membership rules (and maybe number of members and the names of the officers). I've never found one so far.

Hi all.
I really dont wanna sound like a beggar. But I just recently started game on the Drinal Server (had lvl 11 Druid.Halfling) And I decided to make a Vah Shir Bard. And I can tell you this-I LOVE IT ! Bards are sooo cool. I am lvl 6 now.
I was wondering, if anyone would be so kind as of to spare some armor?? I have some money I can pay because some nice guy came and gave me some armor that I couldnt wear. And i sold for 450pps (Personally, I thinks that is ALOT but no one seems to say that is.) I have like 3 pieces of plate right now(boy does it look cool on a Cat) and a sword. No instrument. Thanks all !

For you female players out there, the guild Sirens of the Storm is a female power based evil roleplaying guild...the women rule and men play the roles of warders, servants or slave if so chosen by one female. As the chief ward and only male officer in the guild I have to say, its a great guild..the leader, Mistress Sylacar and guild chat alone makes life on Drinal interesting. Currently we are fleshing out our ranks with female characters with lvls 30+ though the lvl range is from low lvls to lvl 60....our roster is at www.guildmagic.com under drinal and our guild name...a general chat is at www.ezboards.com under the page bsirensofthestorm and a guild webpage exsists, links are in the other two places listed above....along with how to join, requirements and officer roster...

I realize of course that SH is a new server and an expensive service but after playing on it for several weeks now i have a couple of hopefully non biased observations. Its empty, theres one . My Druid ported around Norath and Luclin today to find the most populated zone being LOIO with 9 people. Sad ! It wasnt only distressing to find the lack of players on but everywhere i went everyone was so quiet. It was almost like they realized they made a dreadful error transfering there characters and were all trying to figure out how to solo their perspective classes. Every where i went i heard the same such and such level cleric LFG ..*pin-drop* poor things... No auctions,no shouts, nothing. Next the " enhanced GUI, character info page, guild info page, mapping system and basically everything else advertised as enhancements are all web based not game based. Either i didnt pick that little tid-bit up when i applied, or they mis-advertised hey im not to proud to admit when im wrong but the from the first 10 minutes im on the server till now im in disbelief Verants execs are charging 40.00$ U.S.for essentially the exact same experience you would have on any of the other servers.. And lets face it thats where we spend most of our time right playing the game. I was on this weekend to experience some of the events they advertise as an added feature, only problem was 3/4 of the ones i heard advertised were for 40+ characters. The other was a raid in on Gnolls for 25-40 again i was non-plussed. There are ive been told 19 full time GMs on duty although i doubt youd need them , the "kiddies" cant afford the 40 bucks so the usual bad taste issues arent a problem and since theres noone there 90 % of the time the usual player/player conflicts dont occur. Finally after doing a bunch of who alls ive noticed mostly high level guilded players, which makes me wonder if this was somekind of retirement home server for lvl 50s and up ? Id like to hear from some of you guys and youre thoughts on this matter. Before anyone tells me that the server is Run on PST i live in SoCal :)If someone is wondering wether or not to tranfer their char. and dish out the extra $ my advice is dont do it unless youre a Nec, otherwise buy lotsa bandages and give Minesquel a tell when youre in game .. thanks all

Greetings, I am not sure if you have a guild yet but I was previously the second in command for Lords of The Frost, a small guild to the north. I recently left to persue my own ventures. I know they are always looking for more and they are a low lvl guild. the leaders name is Kabool. I am actually not sure if they are still around my leaving put a small dent in their already weak ranks. If they are still out there tell kabool or any other officer that Ezlik sent you. If they have been there for more then 7 months they should know who I am and will let you join right up.

I extend a hearty and magnanimous invitation to this new section of the Alla boards. As my Kingly obligations and duties demand, I welcome you to post about this server so that others from your land may learn about your guilds, grouping and mob rules, items for sale, the location of friends and comrades, and other pertinent information.

This is a great opportunity to set up meeting places and times for bazaars, raids, wild drunken parties, and weddings.

Post away, all you domesticated cattle!

As a true roleplayer, I joined the Bloody Red Horde... an all evil guild, medium in size. Unfortunately, I came on one day to find my guild had disbanded due to too many people leaving for "bigger and better things"... in other words... uber.

However, this Knight of 42 Shadows has searched both his Iksar home as well as abroad for the truth behind an ALL Evil guild. While it is difficult, and some classes are rare... (those elusive evil bards)... It is not only possible, but can be very effective. Obviously, it is more character restrictive than race/class/deity...

For example, I've seen some Necromancers who have made friends with the elves of Kelethin, as well as Dwarven Clerics who are shunned from Kaladim... (yes guard hunting will do that to you)...

I was wondering if anyone has had past experience with ALL Evil guilds... perhaps some do's and dont's... and most of all, any information on any current EVIL guilds... I'm not ready to take on the responsibility of leading a guild, as I do not have the time due to college studies. However, I would be interested in any information there might be floating about out there.

Thanks

Don't know if you're still interested, or looking . . . but I am a member of Unholy Brotherhood. I was approached by Derwyndal, one of the leaders of our guild, in the Feerrott, and asked to join. I protested that I was not terribly high-level, nor likely to play enough to get there. He said all that mattered was that I hated the lighties and had evil in my heart . . .

So, look for us in-game. I have not done a great deal with them, as I'm still in that young soloing stage (13th level Troll SK). I did group with two of my guildmates in Oasis, however -- one a DE cleric, the other a DE enchanter, I think (?). It seems that we have mainly DEs, plus a smattering of Trolls, Iksar, and Ogres. Late at night Pacific time, I commonly see 8-10 characters of various levels (teens and 30s, mainly).

We have a discussion board on www.ezboard.com. I forgot the exact address. Right now we're planning on an intra-guild "Fight Night" in the Arena . . .

I have had some experience in all evil guilds, and I can't say much good about them. Unless you are a roleplay fanatic I would not suggest joining one. If you are looking for an all evil guild on Drinal still, try either Unholy Brotherhood or Evil Legions. However, what I find to be the problem with all evil guilds (and I know others do too) is that they lack versatility(sp?) of classes available to them. Probably the most desired class for guild raids, the Cleric, is only available to Dark Elves out of all possible evil races, and Dark Elf clerics are not one of the better choices for a Cleric. Druids are also completely missed out on by evil guilds even though this is partly made up for by the fact that there are many evil Shamans. Also completely absent from the evil line-ups are Rangers and Paladins, putting a dent into their options for melee classes. I found that the evil only guilds I know of consist of pretty much just Necros, Shamans, and Shadow Knights. However, these are just my experiences and you may feel differently.
