I have a level 52 enchanter here that has been in mothballs for about a year now, I quit because I was angry at the war that took over the wood elf newbie city... you could hardly get in the place...I was wondering is that war still going on? How do you like the game? Is it worth coming back to? I played WoW for about 7 months and play SWG from time to time...I miss this game though..but am wondering if its worth coming back. I hope someone can give me some info please..

Man i just bought the Titanium boxset and im on a dial-up internet (no highspeed avbl out in the country) and it has taken 5 days to download all the updates man if i would have known that i would have never bought it becouse i got the boxset for the DoN and DoD exp damn someone kick me in the seat of the pants lol well someone let me know how Stormm is doing And if possable the guild im in Lords of The Dungeons SUP LORDS

I am a Warrior, i have 356 aa's and am lvl 70. I am human, RZ is my god, I was in the guild Shadowborn on the server Tunare. 5 years and the only guild since ive been playin eq. Most of SB moved on to EQ2, I did as well but I miss this one too much and have decided to come back.
I am leaving Tunare for the simple reason of not wanting to join some of the guilds i have known over the years, it would just feel weird lol.
Please feel free to ask me any questions in game as soon as my toons are moved, hopefully i can find a fitting guild and make many new friends =)

Allakhazam says this spell Icicle Shock is a Level 12 Wizard spell, but doenst give location to get spell? I've looked everywhere and no info. Does anyone know where this spell can be obtained?

Hi, Can anyone help me? Im trying to find a good place to lvl for my 33 ranger. I tried Overthere but the exp is very slow. I would do ldons but dont have expasion =P. Any ideas?

I highly recomend the tutorial for all new characters, even if you don't need a tutorial for these reasons:
1]You get a charm that when maxed out (after you take all tutorials) boosts almost all stats.
2]You can collect silks which are incredibly easy to accumulate and get all kinds of cloth armor from armor tutor.
3]You get a free backpack and necklace (which i believe doubles as a light source?) from the merchant tutor
4]The weapons tutor sharpens your weapon 3 times, once for free, a second time with a chunk of bronze, and a third with a chunk of iron. You get the metals off the kobold in the mines.
5]The tradeskill tutor is an excellent source of food and baking points. Ask him "what rat steaks" and he gives you rat meat and kobold cooking sauce. Ask him this about 40-60 times and he will give you the ingredients every time. Go to the stove and cook away. You now have 40-60 rat steaks(+5HP)and a 15 in your cooking skill (all ready to make goo!!)
6]the buffs and spells tutor gives you a first level spell. he does this even for hybrids (my BST got salve).
7]if your not a magic user the combat abilities tutor will give you your first ability (my Beserker got throw stones, an excelent pull)
8]Go kill some spiders, rats, and kobolds in the mines and before you know it you are a level 5 and ready to take that newbie armor quest head on!!

BTW this is Singtoo Deadpeople i'm sure so of you have heard of me, i'm omw to being a famous fixture on stromm (atleast i hope so)
anyway if anyone wants a currently 43 bard and rising fast Bard in a group I'm almost always on very late eastern times

I've been lurking in the shadows of Sanctus Seru gathering information on how I can complete the Sigil Earring of Veracity quest. I have the 2nd of 5 earrings now and the 3rd requires killing 4 tough mobs and handing in the reports they drop.
Having spent hours and hours in this zone I notice it's almost always empty. I mean I am the ONLY player in the zone. Other times there are 10 - 30 people in the zone, generally all from the same guild and all level 55+. Hi Final Door peeps :) So it's all or nothing. My guess is the faction hits made everyone kos, so a walk around Sanctus is not an option lol.
Does anyone on this server have the 5th final earring?
Does any guild raid here routinely?
Is anyone else on the server working on this quest?
Any advice or comments would be appreciated. I have done a lot of research on the message boards and here at Allakhazam, I'm just fishing for some more info and maybe a little help. Thanks all.

This is more of a rant than anything else. I've noticed an alarming amount of spam in PoK mostly, but in all zones really regarding new guilds. I know, every guild at some point will get the idea they need to bolster the numbers so suddenly you have a few members spamming a zone like crazy trying to recruit... but the current trend seems to be people who are not really all that new to the game wanting to have their own guild and begging people to join just long enough for them to get a name. Doesn't this defeat the purpose? The point behind having a 10 member minimum when starting a guild is to ensure you have a reasonable amount of like minded players all aiming for the same goals, not some magic number chosen at random. What do you gain by creating a guild in name only and not with real friends (be they in game only or in real life as well)? Very rarely do they survive more than a few months, mostly because there's no direction and/or those that join later realize the guild is a joke and their time has been wasted. Honestly, go out and enjoy the world, play the game... make some friends and THEN create a guild; you will definately appreciate the results more that way.

Hey Nickro!! My hero that once got my corpse out of those tunnels when I went link-dead. It was a real treat to see you passing through the Lair other day. I've been hunting Great divide/Eastern wastes/Iceclad since about 36 don...I think they are great places to solo for Druids and Rangers. You might want to try the basilisks in Jaggedpine Forest also...NOTE: save Iceclad for later...like around 39/40. The Giants in the Great Divide can be pulled safely right by the BOK at zone in.
Thanks for the tips Gaibban, I finally dinged 41 so I'm not such a chicken anymore lol. Look for me on a corpse run to GD soon!! Still having nightmares about the GFay basilisks that terrorized me as a newbie but it's quite clear that those in Jaggedpine have to go. There's no room for lizards there, this is a fur-only zone hehe. After I get some more xp I'll head to Gunthak. I was there with some guildies last week and it seems tailor-made for levels 40 to 50 with endless mobs and some fair loot.
Have you hunted in Nedaria's Landing recently? I did for an hour or 2 but left for a group in Splitpaw (Infected Paw?). I didn't see anything special other than HQ pelts which seem to drop more often here than elsewhere. Not tons of them, just a bit more often is all.

I was leveling in Netherbian Lair yesterday, medding at the center pillar with hide on when a young monk came by and got aggro'd by a pair of Neths. She stood her ground for a bit, but took a lot of damage without once hitting the drone, so she wisely headed for zone. I stood up and snared one of the mobs, they both turned on me and left her alone. I said for her to take one of them while they were beating on me. I killed the first one, then healed and buffed her while she took on the remaining warrior. It was quite a fight, took her almost 5 minutes and all my mana for her to kill it but she did it just fine. We congratulated each other and then she went on her way to a safer zone. About a half an hour later, another player goes running by 3 or 4 times, obviously looking for something, then I get a tell asking me to come to the central pillar. When I get there, a level 50 cleric tells me "Thanks for helping my monk." Wow, that was her alt. She buffed the shorts off me with Temp and a host of others I can no longer recall, and wished me a Merry Christmas. Then I used her kind buffs to do some more leveling. Nice things happen when........... you do nice things.
