TR screwed it for everyone. GM's didn't stop them from killing sleeper and sucking all the life from the other guilds. Cindar Cindari where are you now? I bet your bagging groceries at Vons.

what should i do? been trying to lvl up and i get no where. maybe its the server? or my class or something any ideas?

To answer a few questions I saw here:

The "wait" to get into SH is only a day from sign-up. SOE wants to see your app and account status first.

SH numbers are fairly low, not BAD, but low. The server is the primary haven for level 65 players who are 99% older players, mature, and quiet. You rarely see any spamming or d00d-speak. None of the leet-crap.

As far as grouping, if you aren't in a guild, you're LFG alot of the time. At levels lower than 65, you are lucky to find ANYONE. I transferred over my 61 chanter to be a buff machine for a starting warrior along with my wife's cleric. I do a /who all (level#) very frequently. I can count on ONE hand the number of players that aren't Bazaar mules that are within 3 levels of me. At the 10-20 levels all 4 players in SH are in Paludal. =P

SH is otherwise great. Big zones with no KSing for anyone lower than their 60s. I have a sneaking suspicion the prevalence of GMs has something to do with the odd behavior and sometimes VERY unusual challenges that crop up from the mobs.

Is there an experience bonus on this server like there is on some of the PVP servers?

I am a lvl 47 warrior and I am wondering if I am going to be able to group on stormhammer and how hard will it be I also have a 32 enchanter and some lower lvls of 15- reply me back pls.

Township Rebellion still alive and kicking? Still led by the old Vindication crew from D-ro? Noticed some familiar faces on d-ro, who had left for Stormhammer, but not to many of the people who left from Vindication.

Selling my Stormhammer Paladin account. Level 39 Paladin, has great equipment all important spells(might actually have them all, but I couldve missed a spell here or there). I'm selling because having 2 accounts is starting to get expensive having them both be on legends. And with college and work its just too hard to play all that much anymore. Paladins are one of the most fun classes to play(I'll admit up until I made this char i hated them, now i Love them.) You can either tank, or heal in a group. Might want to work on getting better wis gear if you want to be a good group healer. I focused more on being able to solo and tank. Got Great HPs(just under 2k with all self buffs on) Also has some DW pieces. Please give my account a good home. Also some lower levels on account. Entertaining most offers. Storm is well worth the money. For one thing action is taken against harrassers almost immediatly. And another NO Crowds. A haven for newbie playing. Altho at late late hours creative grouping is necessarry.
I got a cleric from birth to 31 in in less then a weeks time, with 4 actual playing days.
Impossible to do on any other server. I have a guild of low to mids and we have a blast.
The server is basically ours for all the uber pukes are squabbling over the uberfields and getting disgusted and migrating back to their home servers. YEA! more pleasent folk arriving daily.
Leave your uber pukey greedy player in mothballs and have a blast as a nooB. Life will never be the same hehehe

4 days play on this server. Here is a breakdown of what I've seen.

Day 1 (Sunday): Switched to server. Logged on my 55 druid, poked around a bit to see what was what... LOW zone populations in many places that my old server had stuffed with folks (DL for 1 -- 14 people in entire zone. 2 groups (not full) hunting.

Went to EF to solo some IG's. 2 of us on the giants. 5 others hunting in the entire zone.

GM EVENT! -- Both of us IG hunters packed it off... GM sponsored FEAR plane raid. Had a blast with over 65 other total strangers there.

Finished event and camped.

Day 2 (Monday): Logged on my 30th level Ranger in EF. Went to hunt Mammoths. Soloed a bit then hooked up with a warrior for a couple hours. Lots of fun and we were the only 2 hunting mammoths so plenty of action for us.

Warrior camped so I took my 31st level (now) ranger to the moon to pick up his spells...

Bazaar -- sheesh -- over 130 people in the zone! Auctions going bonkers (hmmm... THIS is where folks hang out eh?).

Went to do faction quest so ran back and forth some 12 times between Shadowhaven (average 20 or so there), Bazaar (see above) through echo (15 to 20 there) to Fungus Grove (fluxed between 14 to 35 there).

Camped.

Day 3 (Tuesday) Logged on Druid and did IG's ALL day. From auction channel bought a set of tolans boots (I bid high at 1700 pp) for my ranger, got Foliage Shield (1k pp) spell, ported a half dozen folks from EF to other zones (why worry about camp when so few hunting there???).

Put 2 kpp in the bank, transfered boots to Ranger and camped.

Day 4 (Wednesday) Logged on druid. Did IG's for a bit, breaking to port a couple folks. Found a high end tailor to help with some drake armor work I'd been trying to find help with on Povar for MONTHS! Have sleeves and a belt now -- Next tunic ;).

Decided I'd try for the tunic so went to CS -- ranged from 10 to 50 folks there as people passed through. Many doing Othmir, Sirens, etc... Only a few on the Wyvern and me doing Drakes (ran 1 quad of wyvern to clear strip... I get uncomfortable with the though of wyvern adds while fighting a drake <g>).

COllected, with help, 4 more hides, hit SS to forage stuff, then thurg. Found a HUGE stack of velium bricks on a vendor so bought up a bunch to make boning... Contacted ANOTHER master tailor (easy to find), and he tried to make me up a tunic... bummer -- 7 failurs in a row... Such is life ;). He did succeed at several acrilia items he was making but.. <grin>

As you can see, not much different from other servers in some ways. Folks are decent but most zones are much quieter than old server. Because the population is so much lighter, folks tend to be a lot mellower about camp sites, etc...

Better or worse? Undecided for the most part but the events (several went on that I didn't participate in) and availability of hunting areas keeps it interesting.

I realize of course that SH is a new server and an expensive service but after playing on it for several weeks now i have a couple of hopefully non biased observations. Its empty, theres one . My Druid ported around Norath and Luclin today to find the most populated zone being LOIO with 9 people. Sad ! It wasnt only distressing to find the lack of players on but everywhere i went everyone was so quiet. It was almost like they realized they made a dreadful error transfering there characters and were all trying to figure out how to solo their perspective classes. Every where i went i heard the same such and such level cleric LFG ..*pin-drop* poor things... No auctions,no shouts, nothing. Next the " enhanced GUI, character info page, guild info page, mapping system and basically everything else advertised as enhancements are all web based not game based. Either i didnt pick that little tid-bit up when i applied, or they mis-advertised hey im not to proud to admit when im wrong but the from the first 10 minutes im on the server till now im in disbelief Verants execs are charging 40.00$ U.S.for essentially the exact same experience you would have on any of the other servers.. And lets face it thats where we spend most of our time right playing the game. I was on this weekend to experience some of the events they advertise as an added feature, only problem was 3/4 of the ones i heard advertised were for 40+ characters. The other was a raid in on Gnolls for 25-40 again i was non-plussed. There are ive been told 19 full time GMs on duty although i doubt youd need them , the "kiddies" cant afford the 40 bucks so the usual bad taste issues arent a problem and since theres noone there 90 % of the time the usual player/player conflicts dont occur. Finally after doing a bunch of who alls ive noticed mostly high level guilded players, which makes me wonder if this was somekind of retirement home server for lvl 50s and up ? Id like to hear from some of you guys and youre thoughts on this matter. Before anyone tells me that the server is Run on PST i live in SoCal :)If someone is wondering wether or not to tranfer their char. and dish out the extra $ my advice is dont do it unless youre a Nec, otherwise buy lotsa bandages and give Minesquel a tell when youre in game .. thanks all

Are there any new quests like the arisen derv heads one that can get a mid lvl warr descent money? I acn make a couple hundred pp a day with this quest, but I would think that a tougher one might be more worth while.
