I just noticed at my guildmaster that I could train in Tinkering. I'm a dark elf and training puts my skill at 20. Anyone know why I can train in this? I thought only gnomes could.
how do you

if you just wana mess around go ahead and make them but your triv is caped and you can't raise your tinkering skill. Go with somethingwith more triv like the flameless lantern it's not expencive to make and you get your skill up.

berryat Wizard (Gnome)
<Ayne roe>
(Nights Champions)

IOW, as a gnome you're born with a skill of 50 in Tinkering, so you can't skill up making fireworks.

Flameless lanterns have a higher trivial (68), so you can make them if you're trying to skill up.
Metal Shaft

Just to let anyone question about where to buy metal shafts. You may buy them in PoK (plane of knowledge). Go to the tinkering merchants(south of the bank) and theres one certain gnome that sells the metal shafts. Also, theres a dude in PoK that sells bat wing of infinite quanity! He's located near some smithing and alchemy merchants on the west side of PoK. If you have any questions ask here and as soon as i see it ill right back :D

All the four different types come in one batch of fireworks. Once you have it all made it gives you four, and they're each different. You cannot just make individual firework types.
