Gnomes get their own unique trade skill: tinkering. What is the best strategy for playing a Gnome? What zones and cities should you take him to and which ones should you avoid? I personally love my little lady (Eci server). She's an absolute hoot to play and anyone who comes in contact with her remembers her - mostly because there are so few gnome warriors running around. Ok, ok ... her bright blue dyed steel armor tends to help. ;)
Anywho, play the game as you'd like to play. I'm not a powerhungry leveler or out to make vast amounts of loot - I'm a roleplayer. I can't for the life of me think of a better character to fit my needs on that game.

Ogres for some reason they think they are the absolute best, so gnomes are weak (also think he is lying) but they are the best they rock!! I am a gnome if you are so big buddy, I will take you down gnomes may be weak, but we can beat anyone (yes even erudites) we can nuke everyone!!!!!!!!!!

you wanna know what i think.I think gnomes are the worst posably warriors and they can never have as much str as a ogre and that is why ogres are the supreme rulers of the land of norrath so dont ***** with ogres oh and i am on Morell Thule and i think a lvl 60 ogre warrior can kick a gnomes a s s so duel me and meet and i will show you the power of 205 str 205sta and 205dex and we will see who wins
Heh, come to Kunark Dracus, and let us dance. We think that your mighty power is pretty pathetic. Better yet, simply face off with a gnomish necromancer ~ they will gnaw on your bones even before your dim brain realizes you are dead.
I for one believe the little guys are stronge and powerfull. Me a 22 Vah Shir warrior (Kibath Lythenstein) have fought side by side with a gnome warrior and he has shown the ability to hit the enemy where it hurts. Now if you think for one second that your lvl 60 Ogre warrior can beat a gnome then try. They will run circles around your slowness. They are quick and agile , that is what makes them better. Sure you can take the damage and dish it out but how can you hit something that is running around you biting your ankels. I think you over estimate the gnomish warrior. Do to my friends little gnome I have created a gnome Pally awesome combo I say. When my warrior reaches 60 I will always be a gnome defender because its gnomes like Flaten that give gnomes a good name. So, just another point bronze is not all that if you can not see or hit your target....hehe

The gnome warrior is the best combo in the game....especially if you roleplay an insane gnomish warrior...I've scared a lot of newbies like that...lol.

I am the one of the few little person on the face of Norrath who is able to say that gnomes do make the best warriors, why because I've tried EVERY single one. Thats right, every class that could be a warrior I have been, so far the gnome is the best EVER, not that gnomes have the best stats(that goes to dwarves hands down) but that they are just the greatest to play. I love RPing, its what makes EQ the best game ever. And when it comes to little buff monsters, gnomes ROCK.

Why is it that all i see is Gnome CASTERS, there are no Gnome warriors. i have a Gnome warrior on mith marr server, lvl 24 Ztik. He is one of my FUNNEST Characrters i play. He lacks str/str but he makes up for it with SUPER HIGH Dex/agi, Dex = A LOT of crit hits, Agi = HIGHER ac. Those are a deadly combo. i made him only cause they look so funny in plate armor, hehe. But i learned to love him. i now play him most of the time instead of my lvl 40 Barb Rogue, kkrasy iceWolf. And never forget to run UNDER the Barb WOMEN, Ztik's last name is Skirtlifter, i love it, can't see qanything but it is a good way to say hello. i hope you all will make a gnome warrior for more then the abbilty to look up Robes/ Dresses. But hey if it tikles ya pickle.

I agree gnomes make the best Warriors. Not cause their the stronges but there's not much funnier than having a tiny little gnome kick a big old Sarnak Recruits ***. We need more gnome warriors!

I am considering starting a Gnome and I was wondering if tinkering is worth it. The ONLY reason I was going to start a Gnome is for tinkering. Thanks.

If you start a gnome JUST to tinker, I think thats kinda stupid, start a character JUST for a
skill, but Tinkering is a very usefull skill, and you cant really start it until lvl 16, but I think if you started a Gnome, you'd learn to like the Gnome, not just the tinkering, the only 2 characters I play now a Gnomes, a Gnome Wizard and a Necromancer

i am a 7 gnome enchanter and i was wondering if i should do tinkering or jewerly and just wondering what is better a gnome warrior, a gnome chanter or a halfing rogue cause i have all three of those characters and am never sure which on to use.

I would personally choose Tinkering, becuase it can be extreamlly helpful, plus its a Gnome-only skill. BUT, Jewlery can get you more money, and you can start doing it sonner, you cant Tinker till lvl 16 really, anyways, if you still cant decide, do both, do Jewlery until lvl 16, then tinker :)

Gnome warriors aren't very strong, be the chanter or the rogue. I'd personally like the rogue better though.
