Ya, you must be eatin' them shrooms if you think you could possibly take one of us trolls down.

Here-- have some peyote with those mushrooms you're eating --the visions you get go well with the hallucinations you obviously are having...

I have a crazy obsestion. I love to eat those big stupid trolls. There just to slow for us and by the time they get a sword they have died. I find if you slip your knife in betwen the two last ribs you dont spoil the meat and they die quicker if you have any troll recipies tell me!

Okey dokey, here is my troll recipe: take an old troll (the ones who have died from old age are the only ones you are EVER going to take a bite from, since a live one will make you run away screaming like a little schoolgirl), slit open his stomach, extract the 3 dozen halflings he consumed for breakfast, and boil him for 5 days (to soften him up). Salt for your personal taste, and enjoy!

Yeah I have to agree

I have a 17th lvl halfy warrior, not twinked, I am still wearing patchwork boots... trying to find some magic ones, anyways, they don't have bad str, but that doesn't matter when you are scoring crits all the time, with my high dex, I score a crit about every 1 out of 4-5 hits, and I am leveling FAST I went from 13-16 in an hour, then went to Kunark for and dinged 17 in about 30 mins, I love my halfy warrior, all I have seen kick but, plus I have a halfy druid, and he is leveling pretty well also

I'd have to say that Halflings are my second favorite race, but only because I can't decide which is my favorite:-P They have great starting stats for rogue/warrior, but they offer us so much more. They're cute... They're dead sexy with their hairy feet. They're fast, they're hearty, but still know how to relax. They have great historical figures in Regis "Rumblebelly" the rogue, and oh, so many others. (obviously my mind was blanking on the others:-P) But, yea. So halflings pretty much rock. They have a stellar newbie area, and have fast access to Commons, and the Karanas, two of the best, most major hunting/trading grounds, which also give way to Qeynos/Everfrost/Odus, and Freeport/Desert/Faydwer. Very nice locale:-P Anyway, that's my opinion:-P Be safe, y'all, and may yer feets ne'er go bald, and yer bellies stay round. Laterz.

Hail all. First off let me say that EQ is Gay and we are all nerds. Of course, gay actually means Happy and in good spirits, which I hope all of you are :)
Now on to my question: Where can a shorty Rogue find a good pair of Leather boots? Apparently there is an embargo on footwear in Rivervale, as I can't find a single vendor that sells any. I tried Freeport too, but the shoes wont fit!(and I thought Halflings had big feet, dopey me!) Does anyone know for sure where to find Small boots? I need leather as I don't like the graphic for Chain/Banded (it just doesnt go with the rest of my outfit atm).
Tanks, and long live the Mighty NERDS!

Oh yea, almost forgot: They say 90% of life is what you make of it...so if your life sucks,
YOU SUCK!

If your on cazic thule I could give ye a wee harvester, nifty little newbie weapon, plus looks cool you whacking crits to death with a shovel:P, other than that maybe someone would sell ye a RTS for that, my advice is to save your money for spells, druids arent mellee class, I havent HAD to mellee since round 20 and rarely did since 14th, not to say I dont for poo poo and giggles every now and then:)

# Jun 04 2001 at 12:45 AM Rating: Decent
if you want to do trade skills heres the class skill table this is my opinion so dont take to court or anything

war=blacksmithing\fishing\baking\brewing
dru=taloring\baking fishing
cleric=blacksmithing\fishing\pottery
rogue=blacksmithing\taloring\fishing\brewing

rogues should do taloring orsmithing because if u want heaveir armor u cant wear as much or lighter armor u can wear all of it

druids do baking will really help your stats and friends stats maybe brewing but vouldnt drink

clerics do smithing couse uc an wear almost all armour that wars can pottery can be profitable i think maybe theres a quest

war brewing smithing those your main skills

hope it helps fynnwin 26 dru prexus

hey iwas planning on starting a halfling rogue what is a ggod skill in pick pocketing that you would get good monney from llike what skill level 50skill
RE: how high till i get good loot from pickpocketing
# Jun 03 2001 at 6:32 PM Rating: Default
i would still work up pick pocketing but i would have backstabbing before because you critcal hit and it might be around 150 to 800

I have a level 24 halfling rogue. i love backstabbing. What ever you do dont scew with the humans if you need to go to fay you have to go throught them And know that i have done that i find my self in the tunnels which darkelfs hide. im still glad i can out run the guards.the best place to go for rogue is fayder alot of your guild are in those towns amd make sure you try to make friends with a druid it cuts down on travel thrugh Quests.

I'd say you start getting decent stuuf from PPing aroung level 60 or so. However, you DENFINETLY want to get it as high as you can becuase you have to steal stuff from NPC's for the Rogue Epic. I believe it's max is 200
RE: how high till i get good loot from pickpocketing
# May 22 2001 at 8:01 PM Rating: Excellent
Well, pickpocketing isnt what rogues use most or do best. You wont use it a lot. Actually, I have abandoned it. You truly wont get BIG LOOT. Not even at its maximum skill level (200). So if your making a new rogue for pickpocketing, you might be entirely disappointed.

Let me enlighten you a bit about your so-called "Ruling Evil Races".

Ogres: Well, they do judge us halflings as a delicacy but it is rather humorous watching them try catching us! I actually have eaten many ogres in my lifetime (one of my favorite meals actually). Too slow and dull witted to handle a fight with us. They are strong, true. But what use is strength if you are already stabbed 12 times before you can swing your weapon?

Trolls: They regenerate. They stink. They are strong. They are lean. They are mean. They are green. And whats worse, you cant eat them! Even though they are more agile and dexterous then ogres, they still are dead before their slimy hand can grasp their weapon's hilt.

Dark Elves: I believe that they mock us more then they mock the light elves. They have a bad reputation and are very quick and adept at hiding, but they still just dont compare to us halflings. They hate us with wild abandon. Well, there are halflings they have caught and tortured but that rarely happens. We all secretly laugh at their "So-Called Rogue skills." In a fight, they use our style and they use it good. We use it much better, however.

Iksar: As repulsive as it may seem to eat a lizard, they actually taste somewhat decent. They regenerate like trolls and have tough armored scales protecting their soft bodies. Ive found my rapier sinks best when thrusted just a bit to the right of the liver and down a step. Personally, I prefer to thrust my dirk into their gaping mouths as they make those exaggerated, and quite annoying hissing noises.

May you die in the midst of a hoard of us "hated halflings".

Well I must say sir or Madam who so rudely insulted my fine race,you are very wrong indeed. You see we Halflings have many advantages over you tall races. For one will any race that can sneak and hide better than us please raise your hand? .... That's what I thought you fool. Next we have a low center of gravity, (much like our friend the Dwarfs and Gnomes.) We can not tip over! Third, this is my favorirte, we are infact the most loved race in all of Norrath. You see only one other race dislikes us, the Iksar. You see we are superior to all other's, except Gnomes who are equal to us in all ways i believe. That my foolish freind is all I have to say!

The gnomes are the most comparable race I have seen but we are still the Lords of the Rogue. Ive received an offical notice by Mayor Gubbin stating that he is going to get into an alliance with those gnomes. We have always been on friendly terms but this alliance will open up trade with them, which can lead us to greater comforts then before, since we are the most reclining race with a great love for comfort. The clockwork inventions those brilliant gnomish inventors have made can perform many functions. The gnome capital city Akanon has mouse-like clockwork dusters and cleaners all over the city that are approximately 17X more efficient than doing it manually. They have invented collapsible efficient and more effective bait for we hobbits love going to lakes for some fishing. They even have soldiers, guards, tour guides, cargo vehicles, and merchants ALL made out of clockwork! Some even can be used as pets with personalities of their own! We halflings are giving our great crops in return (which are going to be used in their inventions). This is looking like a promising future.
