This guild would hand in their tomes of order and discord to have the server wide uniqueness of having red names and we would be able to kill any evils that would hand in their tomes too.

You are obviously KOS in Guk, Oggok(Ogres), Neriak (dark elfs), Kunark (iksars), the troll land (whatever thats called), and class places: Rogue, shadow knight, and Necromancer.
Thats all that i know of but I know there is more.

Kidding guys. Why don't I tell you were you're NOT instantly KoS, atleast by my experience. The list is shorter ;)
Felwithe (duh), Kelethin, Ak'Anon (except evil's section), Kaladim, Freeport (except evil's section under city), High PassHold (except for gnolls and orcs, and goblins in the keep), Rivervale, Qeynos (except for evils section under city), Surefall Glade (unless you go into waterfall, you are KoS to the poachers), Erudin (though they won't like you much IME. i don't think those snobs like anyone). My understanding is that until you kill Kerrans, you are not KoS on Kerra Isle. You are not KoS to the Sisters of Erollis, but there is a pirate on the island who will attack you as soon as you leave the dock, sometimes sooner.
Ofcourse, you are KoS in dungeons. As a general rule, if the place has "keep" in the name, you are KoS (Kedge Keep, Unrest Keep). High Pass Keep is the exception, but it has goblins in the basement (see above). And ofcourse every non-city zone from newbie up has SOMETHING that will KoS.
I don't know about Kunark and Halas and whatver that ice-island place is. I think you are ok in the good parts of Firiona Vie and probably ok in Thurgadin, but don't quote me.

My experience is that you are also not KoS in the section under the city of Freeport. At least not if you don't open the door of the Cleric and Shadow Knight Guild. Even if the door to the Necromancer Guild is closed, the Darkelf there can see you and attacks. The Dark Elf Rogue (I forgot her name) for do the Note to Rebby Quest is not KoS, neither the Rogue Harkin Darkfoot, at least not to my Wizard, worship E. Marr.

Ya, the de in the freeport slums (under a tent) is not KoS to my woodelf either.
Also, there are dark elf camps in West Commons. even after guard hunting in Nek, I was not KoS to them, though they wouldn't really talk to me or anything. However, there is a wandering dragoon at night who is very agressive (died to him once)

I'm a high elf mage on Quellious, and all i can say is i love it! the pets are cool(although the zone thing sucks) the dd spells are almost as good as wizard, i can summon my own food and drink, and ;) guys flirt with her. I find it hilarious....hehe. At least i'm not lvl 20 yet. That might get a little hectic then, but i guess if i'm meant to have this burden *looks innocent* i'll just have to carry on.

LOL im not really a highelf mage im more of a high elf cleric actually i am! But you know about your mage getting hit one have fun after lv 20 i have lots of peps doing it to me but dont worry its all good and when i choose one to Marry( got to pick between like 2) ill make sure it wont happen again. JUST KIDDING!! And mages rock i grouped with them all the time with my cleric and my druid i just wouldnt be one im to lazy to research.=P

As Im working my way out of hell lv 40, I think back of my days as a newbie. I can honsetly say Im proud of beeing an High Elf paladin. Im as good as any pure warrior and my spells strikes my target. I heal buff and slash and can handle alot of damage. My weapon is my words my spells are my thoughts as I travel throughout Norrath. As a female both in game and in RL, I must say no mather what looks you have, if your mind is not clear and thoughts arent pure, you will fall by your targets hands. Make a High Elf paladin and make our mother of all proud, come join the battles and glory of Norrath on the Drinal server!

I rather like High Elves. I was a a 14 Wood Elf Warrior under the deity Ralos Zek, the Warlord.(Sorry if anything's mispelled.) My computer broke though so my account has been deleted. High Elf Paladins may not be as strong as Wood Elf Warriors in hand to hand, they make up for that in spells and stunning with shields. By the way, Wood Elfs are not the worst Warriors as Warrior critical hits are measured in dexerity, correct? Wood Elfs have high dex and agility. I've saved many people from monsters, including the Lizard things called Iskar. I've given my life before for a High Elf Enchanter and a Halfing Cleric in Crushbone. I was the only tank, and 3 Legos were after us. I told them to run and jumped into the moat to draw the Orc away. I swam a good ways until they finally killed me. But in doing so, allowed my party to escape. Never forget Wood Elfs need High Elfs as desperately as they need Wood Elfs. And by the way, I've only seen one High Elf guard on one of the platforms. Think his name is Captain Silverwing or something like that.
Tis good to see that there are still a few loyal servants of Tunare out there. After many of the recent posts regarding some of the loot that the All Mother drops, I was beginning to loose faith in the High Elven Paladin class.

What is a 1h weapon for a magician. I got a kick butt shield but now I can't use staffs and have been stuck with a dagger ever since!! Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease help.
Actually, shop carefully. There are a couple of one handed staffs. I looted one off of a skele, and have been doing well with it.

I like to travel where should I go? Level 8 High elf magician!
Well, it depends on what your goal is. I will give you Tatiyanna's atlas.
1. Steamfont - this place, full of elementals, gnolls, clockworks and mino's can be lucrative for several levels to come. You will want to group up here at your lvl. But, loot is really good, and so is xp
2. Butcherblock - the chessboard is really good xp, but bad loot. It is also a really cool place, great for taking nice screenshots. If you can offer up some batwings in exchange for levitation do so. Then climb the zone wall or a mountain and fly out over the zone. This is one of the most beautiful zones to lev it that i have found so far.
If you've already been to these places...
3. Head out to Freeport. Your guild is in West Freeport. There are some quests through the city that can offer you some xp, items, faction and challenges. Don't venture under the city. There is only trouble there.
4. From Freeport, head to East Commons and hunt around a while. Join a group for the Orc camp and work on your factions. Hunt cats and wisps. The ones here are slightly weaker than the ones in gfay and drop lesser and greater lightstones frequently.
5. If you've made it to lvl 10 now, sneak your way through Nektulos to Lavastorm and play in there for a while. Good xp and loot. You should have ward summoned (I think) which is your best friend here. You definately want your water pet. It is best here. Forget fire pet and fire spell. If you have plat, try to find items that will protect you against fire to buy, or see if a 'chanter is FP will make you one.
--or, if either not lvl 10, not interested in Lavastorm, or you want to keep moving, or after Lavastorm--
5. You can venture into West Commons, but be careful, this zone is quite dangerous. But, if you head through the zone, you will come to Kithicor woods. This will take you to high pass and rivervale. Only travel kith by day.
6. Visit Rivervale first. Hunt Goblins in Misty Thicket. There is a great quest from the warrior guild for runnyeye war beads. Gobs will start to be green, but you can still have fun on the quest.
7. Once done in Rivervale, head to Highpass. Don't doddle here right now. You really don't want to start messing around here until your mid-late teens, and then only in a group.
8. Once through Highpass, you enter then Karanas. The various planes of Karanas aren't really good hunting until your mid-teens because there is too much that can hurt you. Badly.
9. Travel through the Karanas to Qeynos. Surefall Glade will probably bore you as a mage, but it is a good place to try to find a druid partner. Go visit Qeynos. There are several quests here. Have fun with them. Play around in Qeynos hills for a while. In Qeynos you might have good luck with the little-girl-lost-in-the-sewers quest.
10. From here, you can go to Erudin. I think there are supposed to be some caster quests, maybe some for early teens, which if you hunt regularly as you travel, you should be by then. Toxuiillisiaijgsiahghg forest is BORING! Go explore Kerra Isle. since you aren't erudite, you aren't KoS. Stay well away from Paineeel.
11. You'll get bored with Erudin. Try out Blackborrow and tell us what you think.

I'm a lvl 5 High Elf Cleric and have hopes to travel to Kunark. Any advice, tipe, or warrings you might have?

Are you really sure you want to go to Kunark now I know it has a newbie place but you have to run the gauntlet to get there and the gaurds won't help you either, so even if you get there don't bite off more than you can chew. A friendly warining.

Don't forget, Enchanters are GREAT for high elves. High elves have the best charmisa of enchanter classes and have good intelligence. That way you get a pet, not a really good one but you can charm if you want. High elves make great enchanters.

Well I don't know, about that, but I'll go with you cuz everyone else I've meet hase been a wizard. Acually I think a cleric is good.

Wow, there must be something to good looks! I had started a High Elf female magician. By level three I had a half set of cloth armor when some erudite came up to me and gave me a Flowing Black Robe! ;D From that level to level 6 I continued to receive a stream of gifts from ardent admirers. I never broadcast for charity and I didn't know anybody on that server. By level 8 I had over 200 pp from selling the gifts that flowed over all 8 large boxes in my bank. If I weren't so humble and meek I might let all this go to my head <tosses her hair> Maybe I was just lucky but I suspect it was my high elven butt twitching as I ran around Kelethin and Felwithe. ;)
I play an enchanter who has also been given gifts (i have a neat shirt with goodies attached to it). But she was another woman, I think, so I don't think it was my form. :) My woodelf also gets showered with attention. A lot of flirts and a marriage proposal (when we hit lvl 20). From a high elf, no less. :) You highies don't have the market cornered, i'm afraid.

Is she blonde? I had a Fironia look-alike who had a constant stream of admirers hitting on her (I roleplay heavily) and questioning if I was a woman in RL.
I think there is something to that saying, "blondes have more fun"...
...I also think you have to be quite certain of yourself to play a female in a game and not let on that you are a male playing her. Quite a lot of fun!
On the other hand, as a troll I have MY share of admirers too <tosses his nose hair> but I think it's my green trollen butt scratching that does it as I run around in the mud and slime of Da Swamp.

hey body i agree wit u i have a 32 clr. and i was better than all my friends cuz i got gifts from all i am still wit my best friends but they beleive im a lady when im actually a lil 13 yr old boy pretnding to be his mom! but then i started falling behind everybody else cuz i didnt havew the experience to get my own money! to get the new stuff i needed so now im jus workin towards a200 wiz. mana bonus and cant wait to get back online and play i havent played it sence the middle of august and probally wotn be abble to until oct. and i have a lvl. 10 troll a guy they gurls were way to ugly! so i didnt be one! but thats my story of playin a cross dresser! its fun my cuzzin who plays this game on my account i tried to make him be a girlbut he didnt want to ! so neways on to readin the restof the threads all i can do untill i get to play my game again anyone know of osme good web sights that i can look at im obssed wit this game and im grounded from it right now i dont know how im able to keep from killing myself!
