 | The Half Elf starts off in either Freeport or Qeynos/Surefall and has several options of where to hunt right from the start. What is the best strategy for playing a Half Elf? Half Elven Bards, and perhaps rangers as well, can start in Kelethin. Your starting city options are determined by Race, Class, and Deity.

I started my half elve paly in freeport:) I think u may be able to start them in qeynos. I may be wrong though:(

I have noticed I get the best prices in Freeport from the half elf merchant in the blue building near the bank. I have a paladin with high faction in north Freeport which may have something to do with it, not sure. A few plat here and there add up over time.
Do not start a half elf in freeport or qeynos on a racewar server. Seems pretty obvious but ive caught numerous people trying it.
PS: Seems they may have fixed it so that you cant do this any more. Still, be careful just in case.

At least on Vallon Zek, halfelves cannot worship anyone but Tunare, and thus cannot start anywhere but Kelethin.

I kinda like him personally.. a little weak on the spell casting side but then again Paladins are first and foremost a fighter class. Good base Dex and agi and somewhat decent Str and sta (better than high elves at least). I play Prad as a very agile and dextrous Paladin (my sta is crappy). Plate armour as well looks really cool on Half Elves (have to love the ears on our helmets). Pretty popular with the ladies too I might add.. *grins*.

that sucks, I have half-elves, on Karana, Tribunal, and Seventh hammer, that all started in Surefll Glade. Sorry dude.
