could someone playing the test for luclin tell us more about it? like which classes the val shira can be? which class is the best class for them? what new types of armor and weapons exist? etc. etc.

Bard? How the hell could a cat become a bard? First of all, it's a cat so the only thing it should like be able to say is meow, 2nd I don't think Verant would be THAT stupid.... I hope.

why is it stupid that they can become bards?
you have a problem with talking cats ("the only thing it should like be able to say is meow") but the existance of trolls, ogres, elves, dwarves, dragons, aviaks, etc. etc. you're ok with. btw, the kerran (who are the same base species as these) can speak so why shouldn't the new race?
bards are the storytellers of their people. makes sense to me.

accually in most tribal races the shaman's are the ones that carry the stories that are passed down thru the ages, so no...it doesn't make sence

Heh. Looks like you missed the point. It does make sense, since the Kerrans can talk as well. And anyways, not all races had shamans, that was pretty much just for the old ones, the Indians and such. In more Medieval times, the Bards carried the stories, writing songs of heroic deeds that occured. But anyways, what does it matter? No matter what any of us think, they're going to make them Bards, so live with it.

I have a bard with lambent armor. On this armor (bard only mind you), the races it lists are: half elf, human, wood elf, and val shira. the val will be bards :).
