Ok...so I can't raise the faction with the Kelethin banker. By that do you mean he will be KoS or just dubious, because if he is just dubious I can sneak behind him.
By the way, Brother Quinn in South Karana is great if you don't want to leave Ansalon. You can get a port to North Karana and then zone easily. But Quinn is hard to find...may need a ranger.
By the way...I am a level 12 monk on Solusek Ro. I would really appreciate if someone helped me with leveling or some decent monk armor (like Wu's). Thanks!

OK for all of us men that play on PvP server, none of that bluebie crap. this is a good easy way to get faction and bank in neriak.
1)buy 70-90pp worth of Red Wine
2) get invis
3) get to 3rd q.
4) find the guy in the library by the book (he is kos at 1st but like lvl 3so he wont attack)
5) Put wine into trade screen, 4stach's of 4(dont trade yet!)
6) have some one cast invis on u(still at trade screen)
7) hand them to him
8) repeat untill necisary, but wont need the invis trick after 1st succes full faction boost, because he wil no longer be kos.
this will enable u to bank and us merciants (warning u will be still kos to ALL guilds)
You can raise Warrior, Necro/sk, and caster faction by killing slaves in Crush Bone (or if u just want warrior, kill the wood elfs in TD) when in crush bone be carefull not to kill any orcs or u will lose warrior faction. Im still not shure how to raise rouge or cleric, but hey ur iksar who cares?

look i have a level 6 iksar monk and would suggest staying in the newbie areas until like 12 or 10,then you can go to the farther LOIO spot trust me,i have a lvl 17 shaman (barb) named aktio

Recently my friends and I all started iksars, one of each class. Due to the fact that we wanted to become very strong as fast as possible, I transferred the equipment and money from some of my alt's onto my iksar and spread the equipment around. Now I have 700 PP left. What would the money be best to invest into. Buying good monk weapons? Good Warrior Armor? A good two hander for our shadow knight? Please help us out, if you can.

I would suggest that you not rush into anything. Monks really don't need to buy any armor...I've had my cur silk armor since lvl 10. For an SK, Shaman or warrior you may want to seek buying them banded armor. Make sure you get tradeskills for them all too in order to make money in the future. My suggestion to you is to have your Shaman when he can use Spirit of Wolf at lvl 10 or 9 (can't remember) to cast it on others for donations and bind at lvl 15 for a couple of plat.

uh id say you are very wrong. Monks get a super boost with agility and i reccomend buying a full suit of Wus fighting gear with all that agility youll have your ac way up and you can run fast and +++ it weighs next to nothing, if youre really loaded buy and ee bag and a coin purse but i dont have those i just think itd be cool to be able to loot everything you can with monks cause theyre sooooo awesome ).

Hi, i'm a 27 Iksar monk on Zebuxoruk and this is my only Char so i still have a lot to learn. I took a port to EC for the first time yest and man was it different. Very cool place but i'm fairly poor and can't afford the 10-20 plat round trip very often. I have several questions. Is there a relatively safe way for a 27 Iksar monk, without a guide, to get to EC that doesn't involve magic? Given the weight difficulties with monks is there a bank near EC that iksar can use? Also i think i've seen a guide to travel for dark races in EQ but don't remember where, Anyone else heard of it and know where i could find it. Thanks for your help

There's really no cheap and safe way for you to move about the old world, without lots of faction work. This mean, that unless you wanna spend several days killing greens for faction, you need to be buying ports and/or invis. The three casting classes available to Iksar get invis at some point, but for warriors and monks this is just tough. (You can buy invis potions, but they're not cheap. The other alternative is to ask someone to invis you, but, if it falls off, you're gonna be in trouble.)
Probably the easiest place for you to raise faction for banking is Neriak. You can do the wine quest a few dozen times and then you can bank there. (It's discussed in this forum, so have a wee read of it.)
On the up-side, you're pretty much at a level where you can go to Velious. And, happilly, you're not KoS in Thurgadin. So you can go there and bank quite happilly. (Added to which, one of the components for the fourth shawl quest is a potion that gates you back to Thurgadin. Which is always a handy thing to have in your inventory.)

I've never been ported myself even when I used to still have my 24 shaman back in the day... I thought Iksars are killed on sight by all factions (races), unless your factions are up with other races I seriously doubt you can use a bank outside of the one in Calibis.

I am still sort of a newbie myself. I am a lvl 19 Iksar monk on the Luclin Server. If you have a question then feel free to ask me and I will help you in the best way that I can.
My advice to anyone below lvl 12 (Iksars of course) is to train hard in the pit over by the newbie ramp. Then at lvl 12 get a group of 2-3 tanks and 1 caster and kill the skellies on the main lvl of Kurns by the entrance.

If you have an Iksar character, go kill a gblin watcher and take it's torch. While holding your torch, go jump in water, if you are lucky some thing really cool will happen!

For all those who said that all iksars should get a tail attack, ARE YOU INSANE! Jeez the dmg on it is around 50! Do you know how powerful that would make a shaman or sk or ANY other iksar besides monk. Only monks get it because of balancing issues. Yah take this for example. A Necro sicks his pet on a target and casts a few spells. Then he goes in and tail rakes for 50s and such. Bye bye target hello new Necromonk. Think about stuff before you post it please.

I think the other iksar classes should get something like a tail whip or something, which of course would be alot weaker than tail rake. And then all iksar could get an armor slot for their tail.

The Toilmaster is in the building on the right just after the Shaman/SK guild i think. He needs 2 bust shackles from escaped froglocks in Swamp of no hope..just hand them in to him.

I would be very grateful for any help with this. I am a lvl 3 Iksar broodling monk trying to find granite pebbles to complete my training bag. Someone mentioned the Toilmaster on the server yesterday, but where can I find him and what should I do?

It's stupid that monks can wear chainmale or ringmale and i HATE! that stupid weight thing no more than 14 stones. Verant should delete the weight thing and let iksar monks be limited to chainmale. I a lvl 10 iksar monk and its impossible to find cured silk and if you do find it in cabilis its very expensive when its SO cheap in other continents. If you know where to buy cured silk for a low price in cabilis send me a tell im on the solusek ro server and my name is Selibisian

Yeah, while your at it, let druids wear plate and give paladins criticle hits. And make HT a complete hit and make lay hands give you 72 minutes of invulnerability. And you can...
BTW, cured silk is hard to find in cab because A. Hard to work tailoring up due to lack of small fuzzy animals. B. No others races can enter city w/out fixing faction. Want cured silk, go to OT.

iksars get a few difrent
1: Looks like a skull on the head!
2: is black with 2 "stikes" into the air and 6 diamond on the back
3: a realy cool mask that covers the whole head and theres only a little hole for the eyes

U do get a tail attack as a monk at lvl 25 tail rake my max hit with it before i got flying kick was 52 its prette cool but my highest Flying kick is 72 :)

im an iksar monk lvl 20 and im getting tired of kunark and i want to go to the main land but whenever im able to get a new skill i have to go back to kunark and i wanna stay on main land cause then i can sell items in ec and gain exp. can anyone tell me how i can get good exp with guards and the monk guild so i can get my skills? thanks if you can..
To get monk faction in Freeport, do the White Sash-quest at the monk guild. You will need to get a Wolf Form and you'll need to do it maybe 80-100 times. That should put you up to amiable with the monks, and boost your faction with the North Freeport Guards (Knights of Truth) as well.
By far the most effective and easy way to do it.
For faction with the Militia (East And West Freeport guards) do Deathfist Slashed belts. 40-50 of them should get you to dubious. You will need invisible+sneaking from behind or - again - Wolf Form to hand them in.
For Merchant and Rogue Faction do the Note for Rebby quest with a dummy character 100-120 times and save the stackable whiskers. Then get the whiskers to your Iksar and hand them in to Nestral T'Gaza while sneaking or (Ok, everybody:) Wolf Form.
An easy way of getting Bard faction is to use Fabian in East Freeport. Hand him 2gp to get Knight, Bard and Qeynos-guard faction...but as you will be KoS to him initially, you will need to.....blablabla. Expect to spend 4-500gp.

Kill tons and tons and tons of Gnolls (any variety) near Qeynos, faction will go up with Qeynos guards, Qeynos Merchants and if I'm not mistaken Ashen order (monk faction) I'm not sure how many gnolls need to be slain but I'm in the process of finding out with my iskar shaman ;)
