If you're going to play a troll shaman do not pick CT as your god...go Innorruk. his shamans get a clickie snare that makes life easier. The only thing being a CT worshipper gets you is a slightly easier time getting the Iksar shaman mace. I went CT shaman and have regreted it for over a year

I have a troll now too and she started in Neriak, rather than the other city we used to start in. I was told by Glob I think his name is, just outside the Neriak foreign quarter in the forest, that the the troll's homeland was overtaken by bad trolls or something. The Dark elves are kind enough to let us stay with them. I was told to be niced to the dark ones because they were doing us a favor by letting us stay there.

I have been hunting in the swamp. It is fun, but bring a tough friend I get killed everytime.

There is a Troll named treskar in the foreign quarter (troll section). He needs 2 snake eggs to make a pie. He rewards you with a piece of rawhide or patchwork armor (sells for 1 gold to 1pp). You can of course kill snakes for the eggs but shops sell them for less then a silver each, so buying em from a shop then handing em in bring a rather large profit. Another trick is rolling an halfling alt and buying STACKS of snake eggs from shops in rivervale for like nothing. Increases your faction with troll merchants, gives exp and some ok armor which you wear or sell to a shop. hand in like 10 stacks thats 100pp. Also check the shops in neriak for tradeskill items like spiderling/spider silks, bonechips, low/medium/high quality wolf/cat/bear/hopper hides/skins/pelts and other things like leather padding. Buy all you can find and head up to the bazaar and SELL! End of the week, Don't be surprised if you have 1-2k in the bank. Check the shops every day in every quarter of neriak (riverdale too if you can). Lots of cash to be made at that. If you see an interesting item for sale in a shop that you can afford (swirling shadows etc) search the allakazam item lists to see how much it sells for, and if its a bargain (listed at 20pp costs like 1 gold) buy it and resell it at the bazaar.

I want to start playing EverQuest again and wanted to play a Troll, I do not think it is fair what they have done to them. First off they progress slower than most races, they have less attribute points than ogres, they are almost as hate as much as Iksar and now they do not have a great starting city. I wish that they would do something to equalize all of the disadvantages a troll has. Maybe they could have a starting city in Kunark and or have an aliance between Cazic Thule worshiping trolls and Iksar or give them a stat increase. I am not asking that they are made into quasi-god-like starting characters, like Frog loks with good quest armor, great stats and great everything else. I just think that things should be a little bit equaled out.-- What do you think? Should we petition?

I don't know much about Trolls (udder dan dey tok funny) but, from reading these posts I can tell that the people who play them know how to role play and have fun. Maybe my next character will be a troll too.

Let me tell you about an idea i had one day. I was running through Grater faydark and i had accedently attacked a nexus at the wizzy spires. Needless to say that i was killed Instantly. I was extreamly mad because i lost my exp. Through my hatered i studied the creature and i devised the most extravagant scheme ever. I was wondering if my fellow Citizens of norrath would aid me. Darkies and Lighties come together in a mass horde to take one down. "What's in it for me" a person might ask. Well i think that not only the feeling you get from uniting with all of the inhabitants of norrath to squash a common evil but a great possibilty of an uber pay off and Extream exp or maybe nothing just a cold hard defeat.I am not really sure if they drop anything or if they even give exp.They are most likely the least killed Npc in the game. I have heard of one or two being killed but to my knowlage no loot has ever been identified. There are only a couple of reasons why i have not been able to find the loot items either 1. The uber guild who took one down came up with an awsome item that they dont want to get nerfed because of 1000000 crying lowbies saying its too powerfull so they did not add it to new item lists 2. None of them have ever been killed 3. Normal Loot for lvl of mob 4. No loot :( Now i am not really sure yet of the master plan but i am thinking along the lines of a massive head on attack group attack at random with no aperant stratagey.A person could even make a mule char and lvl to 5 or 6 toe just for this battle.Toe to Toe with the Unchecked Evil of the world. Or i have got a more methodical aproach. If you're planning on starting a new Troll, don't expect to start your life in Grobb. Due to the new expansion, Frogloks have taken over Grobb and all new Trolls will start in Neriak.

Spiritstones have been renamed to Spiritstone of the Banished and they now drop you off in Nektulos Forest instead of at the spell vendor in Innothule.

ok mez iz nulab zelniak. mez expert bout troll so first listen to dis huntin guid. 1-9 innothule, 9-13 soudern ro, 13-20 oasis of errolisi, dat da places without needed expanton but once yoo a 20 troll yooz gonna have tuffz level timz less you get luclin. ok once you get 20 i sugest yoo get luclin expantion if yer new ta game den listen to dis lvl guide. 20-25 paludal caves, 25-30 marus seru, 30-40 dawnshroud peaks. dat all i know of huntin fer know az a trollie ill tell yez laterz for da more high level hunts guidez k? okiez den have gud time on yer new trolliez! make some friend trolliez! but remember barsh dose ogres!
