First time I got into these quests because, I am finally able to solo them except for the tears. These quests are worth it on the Firiona Vie server. Sicne you can sell the gear. Fun quests, just time consuming as a Shadowknight.
Trying to figure out if each of these mobs have a certain spawn point or not.

I finished the quest today with Kindly faction. I've always been kinda paranoid about faction for high end quests and normally I wouldn't have risked it till I was ally, but ya know what? I went up and hailed Gozz and asked him about the quest and he gave me all the info just fine so I finished it up tonight so I could join the guild killing dragons for ST keys and I got my idol just fine. Dont know how low you can go on faction but if he gives you the info you should be safe.

Each of the 3 Symbols drop off Named Drakes in the Halls of Testing and the Tear drops off of Dozekar, also in HoT

All of these 4 items drop in HoT (East Wing) of the Temple of Veeshan zone. Dozekar drops all of the Tears and the named drakes around him drop the all of the symbols. You must be Ally to Claws of Veeshan to complete them. Dozekar is extreamly hard, but is taken down on spawn on the Veeshan server.

These quest items drop off of named spawns in the halls of testing...for noobs to the zone, that's the area where even if ur on good dragon faction w/ Skyshrine, you'll still be KoS. (No there aren't any faction hits, because the halls were put there purposely to test your skills as a man of the Arcane/Strong, get it??).
One of them probably drops off of Dozer, and he's never been killed on my server (Brell) :(.
So it's gonna be a while before I'm gonna be able to finish this quest...but damnit, I'm gonna be the first one to do it if I got anything to say about it.

where to these things come from?
if i ever get em, i am going dragon faction, dont know how well that is going to go since we do ToV pretty much daily unless zland/kland/CT are up but damn, this is as good if not better than CT brain. wow~~
