I suggest you leave immediately before my generosity runs out however......Unless, you're looking for work. You say, 'I am looking for work' Noble Helssen says 'Well, you might do. Out in the deepest scar, known as the Wakening Land we have deployed several Mercenaries to harass the local annoying population. They are in need of constant supplies so we hire those we can trust to deliver those supplies to the Mercenaries wandering out in the field. Are you interested Ogre? You say, 'I am interested' Noble Helssen says 'Very well. Take this pack of supplies to any of the Mercenaries you come across in the field. They will pay you upon delivery. Return here for more supplies to deliver when you are ready. He gives you Field Supplies. This is a good quest for raising faction. I'm an agnostic enchanter, never killed any giants or dragons or dwarves, and doing this quest a dozen times was enough to raise both Kromrif and Kromzek to dubious. I'm not sure how much damage it did to ClawsofVeeshan.
There are gnome, human, barbarian, teir'dal, ogre, and troll mercenaries but all are on Kromzek faction. Some have pets, some don't. They usually wander around in the area south of the lake, within a square from loc 0,0 to loc n1700, n1700. Sometimes one is wandering east of the lake, in the area around 0, n2600. When you turn in the supplies it despawns and presumably a different one spawns immediately. It's possible to get up to 5pp as well as faction when you turn in the supplies but it's usually less.

Im curious, the only mercenaries I have seen, a human mercenary and an ogre mercenary, both ran at our group and attacked immeadiately. We were killing Sentient Suits at the time in Wakening Land.
Are they normally indifferent? How did you turn in the pack? was there a certian area they tend to roam? Thanks, I'm looking for other ways to raise King Tormax and this one doest cost 50pp a hit. ;)

Noble Helssen is found in the same building as the lesser nobles, in the same room as Wenglauks.
The mercenaries wander around, I've only seen the human mercenary and the teirdal mercenary so far... both had skeletal pets and both conned as if they were on Kromzek faction.

so theres another King Tormax quest. I was able to complete this quest 3 times, and he will no longer give me the supply pack now so that I can do it again.

I have done the quest 6 times now and continue to receive the pack. I am a Rallos Zek ogre shaman though and that may effect the situation. A high elf with warmly faction with the storm giants could not get this quest last night even though I could.
I remain dubious to the frost giants and threatening to giants I assume are on the Tormax faction. So I have not seen any tangible benefit yet.

well the 50pp quest only gives 2 to Tormax so this is better anyway.

I was just wondering, where do you get the numbers like -800 points Tormax and +5 for doing quest?
