Spear Sundering Ivory says, 'Their exile is entirely my fault. I need to tell them what had happened from my side of the story, but because of our rules, I am not allowed to speak with them. Please mortal, take them this message and ask them for forgiveness on my behalf. The first one is named Ebon Ice Servant and can be found in Timorous Deep. She washed up on the beach on one of the islands to the southwest. After you deliver that note, you will be instructed on your next step.'

Ebon Ice Servant says, 'This, this means nothing to me. This doesn't help my situation any more than had I not known it. Though now much more makes sense, and I'm at least pleased to hear that Spear Sundering Ivory has not suffered the same fate as I. Though it appears that Towering Silhouette has been shunned. The next part of the note says to bring this to her, who can apparently be found somewhere in the Southern Desert of Ro. I have no idea how Spear Sundering Ivory was able to locate us, but it is kind of nice to know an old friend is watching over us. I hope someday to be able to return from exile but, because of my punishment, I cannot ask you to interfere with where I have landed. This is where I will remain until the fates say otherwise. I cannot speak for the others, but please let Spear Sundering Ivory know that he is forgiven in my eyes.'

Towering Silhouette says, 'I haven't thought about Spear Sundering Ivory's betrayal until you just brought it up. The only reminder I have is this lamp I'm bound to. I mean, other than THAT I guess it completely slipped my mind. I've been spending my time more recently with a wealthy merchant who threw the most lavish of parties. People kept thinking I would grant their wishes and instead I would embarrass them in front of their friends. Oh it was so fun... until they all got drunk and left me here. The note says to talk to Alabaster Rose Moon, somewhere along the Barren Coast. I would ask you to bring me with you, but if all you are doing is following notes that are given to you, then that is pretty boring. I think I will take my chances with the next travelling merchant.'

Alabaster Rose Moon says, 'You, you sought me out to bring me this? I have longed to know if my friends were safe. I'm happy to hear that for the most part, they are. You see mortal, long ago, which would have been several of your lifetimes, we were a group of friends who cherished each other's company. But the jann can be petty at times, and many were upset over our fraternizing. They thought that we were exchanging our factions' secrets with each other and sought to split us up. It seems, in the end, they got their wish. I'm sure Shadow Metal Guardian can recall the story better than I. According to this, he can be found at the Stonebrunt Mountains, along the coast. I cannot ask you to interfere with my exile by escorting me someplace else. You can let Spear Sundering Ivory know that I hope he is well and I do not harbor any Ill will.'

Shadow Metal Guardian says, 'To think, all this time he has been holding onto this guilt. Mortal, our story is nothing spectacular. There was some paranoia within the higher ranks of the jann and, because of this, conspiracy theories grew. One of them was about how a group was ready to stage a coup d`etat to overthrow the current leaders and establish themselves as the new leaders. This group never existed as far as we knew, but nonetheless the higher ranking officers still needed somebody to punish. We were all bound to various muhbis and then exiled, but not Spear Sundering Ivory, it seems. I'm sure his guilt has been a constant reminder of the friends he has lost because of this. We all believed he turned on us in order to save himself. I didn't want to believe that, and this helps put my heart at ease. Please let Spear Sundering Ivory know that his freedom should not weigh him down any further, and be sure he enjoys it while he can.'

Spear Sundering Ivory says, 'Thank you ________ for your time on this. I truly appreciate it. I've been trying to prove to the officers what actually did happen in hopes of returning my friends from exile, though I am not sure how long that will take. As you well know, our rules are... extensive and thus this kind of action will take time. I can work in peace now knowing that they all understand what has happened. To ensure they are safe I have been keeping an eye on them all using various divinations, which is how I knew where to look for them. I'll do what I can, but I don't think you will be alive when I am able to act upon my plan. In the meantime, just know that you have done the jann a great service. Some day in the far future we will be sure to let your descendants know of your work today, and they will be welcome to our realms with open arms.'
