You say, 'I am a friend of the court.'

Eysa Florawhisper says 'You appear to be a creature that has seen many foreign lands. There are a number of fruits and seeds that I desire in order to plant them and preserve their species here in the wakening land. I will provide a bag for you that will preserve the seeds until they can be returned to me. Will you gather seeds for me?'

    RE: haha
    # Jan 06 2002 at 1:26 PM Rating: Decent
Why would you waste time posting that trash Mr Anon. You dont even need a 200 in foraging for this quest. I did my epic foraging with 100, granted 200 now, but if you cared to read the entire ring quest foraging is the least of your concerns.
All these item can be foraged with 100 or more as the epic forages FYI all druids. 200 is nice to have but not at all necessary.

I have accidentally found 2 of these items while foraging for food; my forage skill on the first one was around 25 and maybe 35 - 40 on the second one. Maybe this was just blind luck, but extremely high forage skill would not appear to be necessary. It would, of course make finding these things quicker, assuming you are actually TRYING to find them........ ;)

You can become a friend of the court by handing in 4 mining picks to Shaemus. They are found on Laborers and are not visible. They can be found in wl need kael zone. I had a group of 5 and we got 7 of these picks in about 2 hours.

    # Feb 06 2002 at 2:54 PM Rating: Decent
I foraged the Marr Cherries on the BOAT! Doesn't matter where you are, just have to be in the zone. My foraging is at 190 now, Marr Cherries was the first thing I foraged when I entered the zone. Thinking how easy it was, I decided to disembark the boat at the island (my original intention anyway) to see if I could get some more cherries, just for safe measure. After half an hour I never got another one. =/ So I just ported out and went to Lake Rathe for the Rathe Berries instead. Now I have ALL my foraged things, and I'm wondering now WHERE in WL do I find this EYSA FLORAWHISPER? She isn't on tracking when you first port in.

For ALL the foraged items, it DOES NOT matter where in the zone you are, just keep trying. It is all RANDOM so getting it will eventually happen, the easiest way to do it is to find a safe place, & maybe practice a skill while waiting.

Due to the updates with forageing I was able to get both the VineClinger berries and Ripened Heartfruit easily. I got the Vineclinger in Butcher Block and the ripened heartfruit in Greater Faydark. I only have 85 in forage so I think these are now common forageing items.

OK, I've poured about 4 hours in BB trying to forage these berries. I've been all over the zone, does anyone know if there is a "BEST" spot to forage for them?

I don't think there is any spot better than another -- all of these rare foraged items take several hours unless you get really lucky.

    # Sep 28 2001 at 1:16 PM Rating: Default
You can do the Nature Walker's scimitar at 37, if you have powerful friends who will do all the killing you need for it. There is only faction issues to consider with this quest. It is however lame to have someone else do a quest for you where you can do pretty much nothing to contribute, and not much respect will be giving to a person like that :)

I have helped out alot of players with different quests, with information and other stuff. Even met players on not on my server but has high lvl characters on my server, and told me if I need anything just to give them a tell, they would help out on anything, I have been powerlevel'd just for helping them out with some stuff, I give out alot of weapons, some pretty good weapons and armor to players, just because I feel like it. I have also some Friends that have high lvl characters on my server, that said they'd help out. As long as you got a good name and face, everyone remembers you and would love to help you just because of how you act.

P.S. you be nice to players and they do like to return the favor sometime

    # Aug 28 2001 at 10:08 AM Rating: Default
I have acquired all the seeds and fruits needed for this quest.. I found out about the quest when I foraged vineclinger berries in BB.. I figured they were something since they were a lore item and no drop, so I looked it up.. Since I have foraged all the other items most just from foraging out of habit.. and some I actually went foraging for that specific reason. But I have still yet to find Eysa Florawhisper.. I have been all over wakening lands looking for this particular character and have yet to find who to talk to or turn the seeds into, after obtaining the bag, of course. At my level I think that's quite an accomlishment and was happy that I was able to do all of this without dying.. What I was wondering is if she doesn't appear unless you're a certain level or if she's a rare spawn or something.. I haven't been to these lands much, since they are so dangerous for me, so I really don't have a clue.. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.. I think I'll hold onto the items 'til a later date.. just incase I am to low to successfully comlete the quest, I know I"ll definately want to do so later. (=

Ummmm. . . Yes, you are right about the lvl requirement for this quest. You can do it at any lvl. What struck me funny was the rest of your post. Mainly the "I wanna acquire the Nature Walker's Scimitar by lvl 37" part. Couple pieces of info: You can not complete this quest until post lvl 50. you may have all the items but if you turn them in before lvl 50, you get nothing. Second, you can not even kill half of the mobs you need for quest without a minimum of 2 full 50+ groups. Hate to burst your bubble.

My side hurts from laughing so hard....

That is funny... I don't want to spoil your dreams, but you are NOT getting the epic at 37... Epic = 50+, I'm sorry. Even then, it's rare to find someone under level 54 with their epic... heck, most 55+s don't have their epic...

You can always try, but realize you are going to spend a MASSIVE amount of time actually trying to get things to work... and when you turn things in and get nothing, just remember... you're under level 50, and that's why you got jacked.

I'm 52 and damn near close to getting my epic, but I've spent a LOT of time working on my epic. And I have spent even more time helping others with their epic so in turn I can get their help with mine, and believe me... You won't find 20 level 55+s to help you kill Faydedar and loot the item, it just isn't going to happen.

    # Jul 27 2001 at 4:35 AM Rating: Default
Okay, i just spent 11 hours trying to get a Flarefire seed and here is what i think you need to hear. According to the local Iksar, the forage the things inside the pit, and ONLY inside the pit. Not going to spend the time to scientifically prove this, but i spent 10 hour out by Kesora getting nothing, and in just 1 hour in the pit i got my seeds.

The exact saying I said to get the bag is "I will gather seeds" I'm not sure how much faction plays a part in this though.

To the bards and shammies and such who think they want to complete this quest. . .

It is part of a much larger quest to be a friend of the tunarian court. The ultimate reward is a very nice ring, but it's a ranger/druid only item and no drop. Wouldn't waste my time on it if I were you. ;) As far as I know, it's worthless for anything else, except faction I guess. . .
#Anonymous, Posted: Feb 13 2001 at 3:52 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I have been doing this quest for naught. If some stuff is foraged only no drop...this sux. LAME Verant; very lame. This game is such a collosal time waste.

I am a ranger. I have the bag and was going to acquire the nuts/fruits. However, I have already made some bad faction with Wuoshi by hunting in skyshine.

Must you be freindly to Wuoshi to do PoG quests?

Secondly, I worship Karana. The fawns and such are neutral to me, and she did give the the nut/fruit gathering quest. So if I finally get to do quests in PoG, does that mean I would not be able to use anyhting from them if I worship Karana instead of tunare?
    RE: Quest in PoG
    # Nov 11 2001 at 8:04 AM Rating: Decent
Tunare does not hold dragons in high regard, so Claws of Veeshon faction is not necessary to do this quest. The ring is druid/ranger only and as far as I can tell, not diety specific, so Karana followers may wear.

I see many lower levels posting, wanting to know the experience given for this quest (Wood Nymph Crest) It is but a portion of the whole quest for the Tunarean Signet Ring. The experience is minimal, it is for raising faction and eventually getting an item. Considering that the Plane of Mischief is involved in completing this ring, you need to be 50+ and I recommend 55+.

    Which seeds are no drop?

I'm a bard, but my forage is maxxed at 40 or something, but i heard you can forage unique items on kunark even with a low skill, so hopefully the no drop ones come from kunark?
