Prerequisite Quests: Soldier of Air and Fight Fire.
1st Quest Giver is the zone line into the Plane of Smoke from Stratos: Zephyr's Flight Group task pops up Trails of Smoke txt Defeat ay Trail that ou have not already defeated and claim your reward. There are 5 NPCS named Waves of Saffron Sky along the spider web pathing. They look alike but each one triggers a specific trial. Q.Trail of the Ashes of Rusted Cliff's Glory You say, 'Hail, Waves of Saffron Sky' Waves of Saffron Sky says, 'And so it begins. If you truly wish to succeed, I can tell you something of what you [must do].' You say, 'must do' Waves of Saffron Sky says, 'As with anything here, defeating Whispers of Indomitable Onyx will be a challenge. This particular challenge will require to you keep your eyes open and watch where you step.' A phoenix flies over the rusted cliffs. It is out of reach and sometimes triggers an AE centered on a player : Emote: "The tethered phoenix screeches and targets _____ with a fireball." Objective : to kill Whispers of Indomitable Onyx, a named golem. He has a PB AE named Volcanic Eruption : Decrease HP by 125125 + Stun. Some yellow con elementals ("an ashen elemental") roam the island and may aggro your group. You must kill them since they continue to spawn throughout the event. The named will despawn twice, then 6 green con "a swirl of disturbed crust" will spawn and roam the island. They don't aggro and don't fight back. Kill them, one of them will make the named respawn. Hint: it's actually the #5 swirl that makes the named respawn. You can target it with /target a_swirl_of_disturbed_crust05. During the 3rd and last named spawn, there will be a knockback AE. Be careful to not fall down the island, but then you are ported to the zone in and can come back fast. You have defeated the Trail of the Ashes of Rusted Cliff's Glory. You may continue your journey. Pulling in this place can be really annoying. Lots of lava and such to get stuck in. I suggest making three hotkeys to target stuff and pull with a low lvl pet or one that can fade.
