You can get this quest from Praetor Brimshaw in Skyfire Mountains at -1360, +3421, -122 in the southwestern corner of the zone. Click here for a map. This is a shared task. You say, 'Hail, Praetor Brimshaw' Praetor Brimshaw says, 'Are you ready to help us uncover the [secrets] of the Orb of Luclin? You say, 'secrets' Praetor Brimshaw strokes his chain, 'Good. I knew this would be right up your alley.' He smirks, inclining his head toward the jagged peaks outside. You've been asked to investigate the ancient dragon Orb of Luclin enshrined in the southeastern Skyfire Mountains as part of the Combine's exploration of the area. Task Windows Says: Kill chromadracs to collect their horns. They have some connection to the Orb of Luclin. Kill any chromodrac's in the zone and it will auto collect the horns for you. The quest should auto update when you get near it. Task Window Says: Talk to Eyzas, Lunar Elder and try to find out about the Orb of Luclin. Interact with the Orb of Luclin again if you have lost contact with Eyzas. You say, 'Hail, Eyezas, Lunar Elder' Eyezas, Lunar Elder says, 'Beware the darkness, young one,' gesticulating mysteriously, who would pierce the veil of [Luclin]. Many who are denied.' You say, 'Hail, Eyezas, Lunar Elder' Eyezas, Lunar Elder gazes upon you reproachfully, shaking her head, 'Tsk, tsk. The first clue is free: you won't get anywhere being so forward! The moon reveals her secrets to those willing to [listen] and wait.' You say, 'I am willing to listen.' Eyezas, Lunar Elder scowls, 'But do you hear? Do you imagine your silly little ears to be the organs of such sensation? You will never remember unless you learn to [understand] clearly.' You say, 'Help me understand.' Eyezas, Lunark Elder crosses her arms sternly, 'Do not imagine yourself worthy of such charity. You are here to learn how to do that yourself. Luclin holds more [sway] over Norrath than you know.' You say, 'I would learn the moon's sway.' Eyezas, Lunark Elder growls, 'Then you will suffer!' Task Window Says: Kill the Thought Leech and Assassin which have been summoned against you. Interact with the Orb of Luclin again if you have lost contact with Eyzas. At this point a shadowy assassin and a starving thought leech spawn and attack you. Kill them. Task Window Says: Talk to Eyzas again and continue your investigation of the Orb of Luclin. Interact with the Orb of Luclin again if you have lost contact with Eyzas. Hail Eyezas. Task Window Says: Kill the Netherbian and Assassins which have been summoned against you. Interact with the Orb of Luclin again if you have lost contact with Eyzas. 2 a shadowy assassin's and 1 a netherbian interloper spawn and attack. Kill them. Task Window Says: Talk to Eyzas again and continue your investigation of the Orb of Luclin. Interact with the Orb of Luclin again if you have lost contact with Eyzas. You say, 'Hail, Eyezas, Lunar Elder' Eyezas, Lunark Elder says unceremoniously. 'Fine. If your death will not serve Luclin, then your life will. Did you imagine me a blessing to give? The Orb of Luclin is already inside you. Perhaps if you open your [eyes]...' You say, 'Help me open my eyes.' Eyezas, Lunark Elder waves her hand dismissively, and the colors of your vision bleed together, coalescing into vibrantly colored, tiny particles of light before shifting to pale moonlight. The points shrink until there is nothing but utter darkness, and then your [sight] returns. You say, 'What did you do to my sight?' Eyezas, Lunar Elder says, 'You've got to stop using your eyes if you wish to truly see. Luclin blesses you, ______.' She spreads her hands out, mist filling the air around you. Eyezas, Lunar Elder says, 'Carry this blessing with you to your camp, and if you heed my words, soon Skyfire's every secret shall lay open before you. Remember that the bloom of a tree's bough is founded upon its invisible roots.' Task Window Says: Return to the Combine camp in the southwest and bestow the blessing of the Orb of Luclin. Go back to Praetor Brimshaw in the southwestern corner of the zone and hail him. You say, 'Hail, Praetor Brimshaw' You see your reflection shimmer in Praetor Brimshaw's eyes as you approach. He says cautiously,'Are you alright, ______? You seem... changed, somehow.' As he speaks, a thin mist rises from you like evaporating water and disperses over the [camp]. You say, 'I've passed the Orb's challenges and brought her blessing with me back to the camp' Outside, a wizard curiously probes at the mist with a spell. A look of revelation flashes across his face. Praetor Brimshaw says, stroking his chin, 'Interesting. While we investigate, we'd like you to [assay] the [Orb of Fire].''
