I must have had far worse luck than most, hardest spawns for me were Fierce Impaler, Shellara and the seahorse pat. Camped off and on for 10 days. Most of that time sitting afk and killing 1 or 2 spawn points every 15 min.

With the changes to DZ, figured I'd put down a list of which I have seen spawn in DZ and which I have not (since I know not all mobs spawn with DZ, and some spawn with a delay).
Added rarity from approximately 200 fresh dz's. Ferocious and Shellara were extremely rare, with 1 pop of Ferocious and 2 of Shellara. So all of KK can now be obtained with DZ pick farming.

It took me 43 hours over 2 weeks to complete this achievement. I basically took up a patrol around the keep. From the entrance I would head down to the mermaid temple, then to the seahorse caves, the jail, up the shaft to the room with the sharks, then into the room with the secret door (sliding block) and finally to Phinigel's chamber before heading back to the entrance to start over. I would clear all mobs along the way so that by the time I returned to the entrance the mobs would have re-spawned and I could kill my way back down to Phinigel's room. Almost all the mobs along this rout seemed to be on a spawn timer of approximately 20 minutes.
With the exception of Undertow (7 hour spawn timer) all the rares seemed to be on the same spawn timer as their place holders (or close enough that I didn't notice the difference on my patrol route). The fierce impaler was the easiest to spawn for me. Followed by the frenzied cauldron shark and Cauldronboil. The seahorse matriarch, Coralyn Kelpmaiden and Shellara Ebbhunter took a bit longer. While the ferocious hammerhead was harder yet to spawn, none of them compared to the seahorse patriarch. This elusive seahorse took the full 43 hours that I spent patrolling the zone to spawn!
If you are going to complete this achievement you need to either be very lucky or very dedicated. Besides completing the achievement I made about 14,000 pp selling loot dropped and about 10,000 favor with my personal tribute master by donating all defiant gear dropped. All in all not bad.

Seems that the two mermaids, Coralyn and Shellara are the rarest. I have seen multiples of the others. These appear to be the rares.

a fierce impaler spawned in the entrance room for me. One of those lancers was the ph I suppose.
Undertow: to get to his room, I went down the central chute from entrance, then took the south room and went down into the hole there. a quick east move and down again brought me into a small room with 4 exits. I went north and up then east and down into the mermaid large room. Once in the large mermaid room I travelled a cross it to the north east and then up into Undertow's room. He is at the very apex.
Coralyn Kelpmaiden: While in Undertows area, make sure to kill the single mermaid just before the seahorse rooms.
a seahorse matriarch: while working on Undertow and/or Coralyn, go into the seahorse caves, the far right (south east) most room. Spawned there for me
Cauldronboil: found in the southern most room that has 3-4 sharks in it. Spawning it was an accident. killed the room as I cleared the zone. sat in 2 spots away from the area for many hours. then he just appeared on track. might be a very long repop timer on the ph, but I was not paying attention to that area. just lucky on that one. (edit) he repopped, 5-1/2 hours later. that's a long timer. maybe pop and depop every 2 to 2-1/2 hours? I didn't pay enough attention.
