This is a 18th anniversary task. (WARNING- I also did not acquire enough drops on a single pass through the mission. save the times and reget the mission - this should be fixed over time)

    This quest was really fun as a Dark Elf SK.... kill all of the pale skins in town and walk away.

    There was one Lieutenant that had a lot more hp than the rest of the mobs in the zone. But he didnt hit hard enough to matter.

    Teach Tabure Ahendle a lesson. South Qeynos.

    After you engage her, at some point 2 Guards appear to assist. As we or after we (wasn't paying attention) all remaining Guards in the zone rushed to assist. I'd recommending killing the Guards first unless you have an someone who can evac. You will need to kill some Guards anyway to get the requisite number of teeth/scalps so you may as well do it preemptively.

    When I went to Black Burrow, there was only one 'a gnoll commander' up. He took some finding. Loc pos 21.44, neg 327.96, neg 19.97.

    Agree I found him here also. Not sure how to post an image, but if you are using the brelwalls maps, its the light blue color, right side of map (turn off height filters)and its 3 "rough" circles branched off a single path into them. For me it was the middle "circle"

    We ran through this task five times this past weekend. The mob count issue is fixed. We leave the last three (stationary) guards till after the final turn-in. So, there are enough drops to complete it with three additional guards available.

    And I can verify that Lysric Loresinger in the Bard area is tethered to her corner. If you pull the two bards outside, you won't have to deal with her. If you agro her, she will summon you.

    I also did not acquire enough drops on a single pass through the mission. Cleared the entire zone, only found 7 scalps and 15 teeth. Dropped task and started a second to gather more drops -- you retain the items upon leaving the mission; they don't poof. Assuming this shortage of drops is not intentional. Suspect it gets fixed sooner or later.

    Casting Identify on the reward item Qeynosian Scalp Trophy reveals:
    Item Lore: Grisly. But perhaps someone in command will appreciate this.

    Head to Blackburrow (original Blackburrow lowbie zone).
    Click the Qeynosian Scalp Trophy -- it buffs you with an effect "Qeynosian Blood" which is a faction modifier making you Ally to Clan Darkpaw.
    Find a gnoll commander (they spawn in various locations in the lower levels of the zone).
    Give the Qeynosian Scalp Trophy to a gnoll commander.

    a gnoll commander speaks in barely understandable common, 'This is what they get for ruining our lands. Here. Take this trinket for helping the great Fippy Darkpaw get his revenge.'

    Receive: Darkened Blackburrow Trinket

    No faction hits.

    We had the same issue. Ran through and didn't get enough drops. With two 105 Druids in the group, we split up and tracked the whole city. No additional mobs found. We had to run through a second time. The second time through, we just killed the nameds (and the guards that added). The second run through was pretty easy. We /bugged the issue.

    And yes, this is a LONG quest. Expect 2-3 hours minimum.

    We ran through with two 105 Druids, a 99 Necro and a 103 Chanter (plus WAR and CLR merc). The Chanter mezzing and extra Druid heals was great to have. More DPS would have been nice.

    I don't recommend attempting to solo this task. At times, we had 6 guards mezzed. The guards just repeatedly add. Only the guards can be Mezzed. The nameds could not be mezzed. All mobs could be slowed though. Didn't have any problems getting any spells to stick.

    Most of the mobs were level 105 or higher. There were two recruit guards in the Arena that were DB to level 105.

    Don't count on any loot. It was all level 1 trash loot (rusty weapons, etc). But EXP was fantastic! It was nearly an AA per kill for the 105s. The 103 got ~26% regular with Lesson running. The 99 Necro got ~34% with Lesson and 25% exp potion.

    Interesting note. We put up a campfire in the Arena. The toon that took the campfire back came in next to Fippy (succor point) instead of in the Arena.Quirk.

    We've run through this task quite a few times because the exp is so good. We've learned a few things I'd like to share.

    - I would kill all the guards first. It keeps them from becoming adds at a bad time later.
    - We found that if you start in the Arena, then pull all but three guards into the arena, it avoids adds.
    - Once you run out of guards to kill in the arena, pull the non-tethered mobs from the bank into the arena.
    - The bank mobs are easier to handle if you are behind them. You'll have to duck to get back there.
    - If you've cleared the guards, pull the Bards outside and kill them there. It appears that one of the Bards might be tethered. Plus, the air is fresher, and better for your health.
    - If you have one, put up a campfire. We found it to be quite handy on multiple occasions.
    - Until the bug is fixed, just accept that you will have to do this twice. You will.

    Fish Ranamer level 105 hits for max 12k5. in the fish Bar south central area. has about 5.7 million hp.
    Bruno Carstomp is the same.
    both dropped Qeynosian tooth, Fish Ranamar had a scalp
    Caster guild masters similar.
    Tabure Ahendle is in the area, connned yellow with 6 million hp and hit for 13k, summoned 2 Guard Recruits around 50% ( both con blue, mezzable and assassination worked) that had about 2 million hp each
    Joffrey Clay is in the Bard area (north west) with his 2 assistants ( all level 105). I failed to split them with rogue mez and Lysric Loresinger seemed perma rooted. Otherwise same hits and hp
    Dun outside the bank was single ( got a tooth), Eracon inside the bank also dropped a tooth ( but make soulbinder agro outside - and she dropped a tooth and scalp)
    Bankers level 105, hit about same, perma rooted but summon and assist each other. each drops 1 Phat Loot.
    Guards are also white con, social with each other only, have a very large assist range ( first pull I ended up with 5 on me). The first 8 I killed had nothing except rusty swords. then I got 1 tooth and 1 scalp off the next 2. but overall I am far short of the requirements with a total of 6 scalps and 11 teeth. Killed all the guards except Lt Arathur - he was immune to my weapons ( but took damage from DS). Had to attack from behind with wepaons. he did drop a tooth. Still not enough. and no other mobs in zone. and after 1 hour 45 minutes no respawns. And I turned everything in hoping the 10/20 requirement was a typo. I handed in 6 /12 which now seem wasted. I will have to run it again, save them all then run it yet AGAIN in order to get enough to succeed? seeing if that works will be another 3 hours.
