Ivyshae Family Blade

Kaelana Ivyshae can be found on the north side of Firiona Vie standing amongst some houses, location 2691, -2875. You say, 'Hail, Kaelana Ivyshae' Kaelana Ivyshae says, 'Greetings, Bobbybic. I am Kaelana Ivyshae, ranger of Tunare and recent arrival to this fine outpost as one of the master blacksmiths. I was sent here by order and an obligation to my people, but I had my own more personal motivations for coming to these lands. Unfortunately, my duties here at the forge keep me much too occupied to begin [my search:What are you searching for?].' You say, 'What are you searching for?' Kaelana Ivyshae says, 'Many centuries ago, the iksar invaded Faydwer under the command of Rile Sathir. My ancestor, Elyrian Ivyshae, and his companions came to these lands to fight back. They called themselves the Righteous Order. Unfortunately, all but one of them perished here. Elyrian alone survived and returned to see his homeland again. However, his journal was left behind. Furthermore, I believe I know where it [can be found:Where can Elyrian's Journal be found?].' You say, 'Where can Elyrian's Journal be found?' Kaelana Ivyshae says, 'One of the pilgrims that came to us related an unusual story. She was in the forest and eavesdropped on a dark elf speaking to a goblin about a long-lost journal. She couldn't quite make out the name of the goblin, but thought that it rhymed with 'edge rule' or something similar. It's my believe that the goblin has the journal or knows where it is. You must find this goblin and ask him about the journal!' The Goblin she is referring to is Dajrool Waggletongue, he can be found in Firiona Vie wandering around generally east of the Lake of Ill Omen zoneline. NOTE: He is aggressive towards the Drachnids of the area and dies to them often but respawns quickly. You say, 'Hail, Dajrool Waggletongue' Dajrool Waggletongue squints his left eye and chatters his teeth before speaking sharply in a high pitched, scratchy voice, 'What? What do you waaaaant, Froglok?! Hrm? I clearly see that all you provide is bit of... Hrm... nausea from hiiiideous face and that... rrreeepulive stench wafting about you! Go away before you make me ill... though it may be too late.' Dajrool curls his lip and smacks his tongue as if having a foul taste in his mouth. You say, 'what journal' Dajrool Waggletongue chatters his teeth for a moment and then ***** his head, 'So what of it, Human? You want journal? Well... nothing in this world is given without payment. I tell you what, Human. You do [something for me:What can I do for you as payment?], yes? And I... I will give you journal.' You say, 'What can I do for you as payment?' Dajrool Waggletongue says, 'Aaah! Of course you will, if you want journal, Human. I ask only one thing... and that is that you bring me ornate bracer that sniffling, wretched sarnak... even more wretched and rrreeepulsive than you, Human, stole from me. You will find thieving, dragon-lizard where sarnak gather. I believe that... parents would call him Rusdai. Yes... Rusdai the thieving little whelp that took bracer. Go, Human. Bring me bracer and I give you journal... good as new.' Dajrool wants an Ornate Steel Bracer which drops from Rusdai in Chardok. Rusdai can spawn from any of the "a treasury guard" located near the banker. Give Dajrool the Ornate Steel Bracer. Dajrool Waggletongue gives a hoarse, throaty chuckle and stashes the bracer in his taut loincloth, 'Good! Good, Froglok. Now, I keep my side of bargain. Here is journal. Oh... yes, there is one more thing I conveniently did not mention and that is journal is incomplete. Imbecile whelps in Nurga thought they could kill me... but they failed! You have journal... but missing pages there in Nurga still. Consider information courtesy for fine job in getting bracer. If you kill Nurga whelps, then good. If not, then fine... but go now! I cannot stand Froglok stench anymore.' You gain experience! Receive: Torn Journal The journal is incomplete and requires four lost pages in order to be whole again. These are Elyrian's Journal page(s) 15, 17, 18, and 22. All of which are found as a random drop off any mob inside of Mines of Nurga. Once you have have all four pages combine them inside the Torn Journal to create "Elyrian's Journal". Return to Kaelana Ivyshae in Firiona Vie and give her the Elyrian's Journal Kaelana Ivyshae smiles as she quickly inspects the journal, flipping through its ancient, brittle pages with care, 'Thank you, Bobbybic. I'm forever in your debt. Please, allow me to repay you. Take this Sigil. It was the one worn by my ancestor. I will [need your aid:I will aid you again.] further, my friend, so that I might repay you in the fullest.' Your faction standing with Inhabitants of Firiona Vie has been adjusted by 10. Your faction standing with Emerald Warriors has been adjusted by 7. Your faction standing with Storm Guard has been adjusted by 7. Your faction standing with Legion of Cabilis has been adjusted by -1. Your faction standing with Pirates Of Gunthak has been adjusted by -1. You gain experience! Receive: Sigil of the Righteous You say, 'I will aid you again.' Kaelana Ivyshae says, 'There is an elf known as Iryal. At one time, my ancestor called him friend. They were allies in the Righteous Order, until Iryal's callous betrayal. Now, ironically, the traitor suffers eternally. You see, Iryal was once my ancestor's apprentice, but he betrayed him in the pursuit of eternal life. Little did Iryal realize the torture that awaited him at the other side of the [dark bargain:What dark bargain did Iryal make?]. I have faith that Iryal will aid us... if we show that he has been forgiven. I will need you to show him this forgiveness, as he will certainly kill any Ivyshae on sight.' You say, 'What dark bargain did Iryal make?' Kaelana Ivyshae says, 'There is one known as Tivnesh, an ancient undead iksar of great power. Some say he was one of Drussela's apprentices, from the days before Rile's uprising. He should pay for his crimes against the Righteous Order. Killing the iksar who gave Iryal unholy unlife and returning the Blood Agreement that binds them will give Iryal the proof of such forgiveness. Once you attain the Blood Agreement, return it along with the Sigil to Iryal. He should give you a blade that was forged by my ancestor's hand, though you must understand that it is now likely worn with age and its enchantments broken. I will need you to return to me some [further items:What further items do you need?] with the blade, and then you shall have your reward, my friend.' You say, 'What further items do you need?' Kaelana Ivyshae says, 'The enchantments of Iryal's blade will need to be restored. I know of only two items that can do this for they are of the original materials used when the blade was forged several centuries ago. Upon an ancient golem, one known as the Mist Reaver, you will find the ore that will repair the blade. In the depths of the ruined city built by Venril Sathir, a rare and unique vine grows -- the Dankglow Ivy. Return those components to me, along with the blade, and I will give you a fitting reward.' You will need three more items to complete this quest. The first is The Blood Agreement which can be found on Tivnesh, a named skeleton which spawns in the eastern wing of Howling Stones. The second is Ore of Solidified Mist which drops from Mist Reaver a named golem who spawns on the upper levels of City of Mist. The final is Dankglow Ivy (note: NOT Dankglow Vine Sap) which is a random drop off any of the Myconid type mobs found in Old Sebilis. Find Iyral in the far north of Firiona Vie hiding amongst some rocks. He does not respond to hails. Location 3550, 715. Give Iryal the Sigil of the Righteous and The Blood Agreement Iryal sighs as the curse melts away. He pauses, taking a moment to look at his now flesh-covered hands, 'You've... you've saved me. I was in so much agony. So much pain. I wish I could take back what I've done. The betrayal... my betrayal... will haunt me for all time. Please take this and tell the world that I am sorry. So sorry... for what I've done.' You gain experience! Receive: Ancient Blade Return to Kaelana Ivyshae in Firiona Vie. Give her the Ancient Blade, Dankglow Ivy, and Ore of Solidified Mist. Kaelana Ivyshae says, 'Well done, Bobbybic! The Great Mother was surely with you on this endeavor. I have repaired the old blade... and wish you to carry it. For you have aided a descendant of the Righteous Order, you should now wield our most sacred blades.' Your faction standing with Inhabitants of Firiona Vie has been adjusted by 10. Your faction standing with Emerald Warriors has been adjusted by 7. Your faction standing with Storm Guard has been adjusted by 7. Just grinded out the pages on yelinak, I saw 5-8 of each page before I finally got page 22.

Had the same pattern so I guess it wasn't just RNG bad luck. Took me like 30-60 minutes to get a copy of the first 3 pages and then a couple hours to get page 22.
