It starts with Secalna Galnor In Pok, next to loyalty merchant and Cresent Reach Stone.




Hail, Secalna.

Secalna Galnor says "Hello _____. I hear you are an up-and-coming new adventurer. Your future looks bright. Won't you stay a moment and learn what I have to teach? If you miss your friends in the Mines of Gloomingdeep it might be possible for me to [send] you back there."

A Task screen pops up, choose Guilds and the Guild lobby. You do not need to respond further to Secalna. Plus she can only send you back to Gloomingdeep if your under a certain level.

  • 1. Speak to Aven Spiritmaker near the entrance to the Guild Lobby 0/1 Plane of Knowledge

    He stands to the left of lobby entrance in white robe. Loc -353 1333

    You say, 'Hail, Aven Spiritmaker'

    Aven Spiritmaker says, 'Well met, Nostradomna. I see you have yet to align yourself with a [guild]. Traveling the lands of Norrath without allies can be very dangerous.'

    You say, 'guild'

    Aven Spiritmaker says, 'Guilds are groups of adventurers, brought together by common interests. Being in a guild means being a part of a greater group that can help answer questions and offer advice. It's easy to find guilds that are looking for new members. Depending on what your interests are, there's likely a guild that suits your needs. If you're interested in [joining], I can point you in the right direction.'

    Aven Spiritmaker says, 'You're making a very wise decision! Just behind me is the entrance to the Guild Lobby, where adventurers gather and prepare, or rest and recuperate. Inside you'll find my guild's recruiter, Kesiri Dawnlark. She should be able to tell you more about guilds and the guild lobby.'


  • 2. Speak to Kesiri Dawnlark 0/1 Guild Lobby

    Enter lobby and speak to Kesiri who stands to the left before you enter the big room, loc 163 25

    You say, 'Hail, Kesiri Dawnlark'

    Kesiri Dawnlark greets you with a wave and smile, 'Welcome to the guild lobby! This building is open to all, regardless of guild status. It's surrounded by an aura that halts the decay of magical effects. While within the lobby walls, your buffs will not expire. This makes it an ideal place for adventurers to gather. Of course, there are plenty of other [reasons] why the guild lobby is the go-to spot.'

    Kesiri Dawnlark says, 'Don't worry! I'll be sure to cover all the perks of the guild lobby. I'll start with the one that's nearest and dearest to me: the [corpse summoner].'

    Kesiri Dawnlark says, 'The Priests of Luclin are always on hand to summon your corpse, should you die and be unable or unwilling to retrieve it. All you need to do is ask! They are true masters of their craft.'


  • 3. Speak to a Priest of Luclin 0/1 Guild Lobby

    There are four, in the big rooms on each side of the guild lobby. They are in the same room with bankers, soul binders.

    You say, 'Hail, A Priest of Luclin'

    Your task 'Guilds & the Guild Lobby' has been updated.

    A Priest of Luclin says, 'Here, we are devoted to serving the will of the mistress of Shadow, Luclin. Luclin is the ruler of the twilight -- that which exists between light and dark, life and death. When brave adventurers fall in the realms of Norrath, their material bodies must pass through the dusk of existence. If you are in need, we may be able to [summon] back the remnants of your former life before they drift completely into darkness.'


  • 4. Return to Kesiri Dawnlark 0/1 Guild Lobby

    You say, 'Hail, Kesiri Dawnlark'

    Kesiri Dawnlark says, 'Death is always something to be feared, but at least now you know you have allies within the guild lobby that will help recover your corpse should you ever lose it. Of course the best way to avoid death is to adventure with friends and [guildmates].'

    Your task 'Guilds & the Guild Lobby' has been updated.

    Kesiri Dawnlark says, 'There are plenty of guilds that are looking for new members. You can visit any of the bulletin boards within the lobby to look for a guild.'


  • 5. Find and click on any bulletin boards 0/1 Guild Lobby

    These are located in the rooms adjacent to where bankers and vendors of reagents are located. Click on one of them.


  • 6. Return to Kesiri Dawnlark 0/1 Guild Lobby

    You say, 'Hail, Kesiri Dawnlark'

    Kesiri Dawnlark says, 'No luck finding a guild? If you're [willing], my guild would love to have you as a member.'

    You say, 'willing'

    Kesiri Dawnlark says, 'Welcome to the guild! Our roster includes many new adventurers, as well as those who delight in helping others. You've joined as a Recruit, but there are many different ranks within the guild, each with their own permissions. The Guild Leader determines what access each rank gets, though there are many advantages that all guild members have, such as the [guild hall].'

    Kesiri Dawnlark begins casting Kesiri's Gift.

    You have been assigned the task 'Exploring the Guild Hall'.
    Kesiri Dawnlark says, 'Guild Halls are large dwellings that can only be accessed by members of your guild. They house many resources for an adventurer, including tradeskill stations, bankers, merchants, tribute masters, and even your own translocation gnome who will port you almost anywhere in the world. You can access the guild hall through the [neighborhood], or directly from the guild lobby.'

    You say, 'neighborhood'
    Kesiri Dawnlark says, 'Neighborhoods are community areas where adventurers and guilds have their homes. Annabelle is stationed outside the northwestern gates, ready to answer any questions you may have about housing.'

    You are now a member of The Novices Of Norrath. Kesiri also buffs you with a 30 min protective shield called Kesiri's Gift
    1: Increase Damage Shield by 4
    2: Increase Movement by 30%

    You now have access to guild ports in the Standard Guild Hall, which is the door on the right by Magus. You must zone into the guild one time for other things to work, like removing yourself from the guild.

    There are no officers. Membership varies, there were 297 on my server when I ran through. You can use the guild banker to put stuff in that you don't want and others might. Personal banker is there as are the tradeskill equipment. The Npc who is parcel merchant and seller of distillers for augs and the port stone seller are there just like a normal guild hall.

    There are some high level players that stay in this guild but others may choose to leave when they find the guild they like. If you want to leave simply click the EQ button - players - guild - highlight your name and click remove. Kesiri will tell you to leave target yourself and type /guildremove also.

    With the November 17th patch all 4 of the merchants (disciples of Luclin) were removed from the Guild Lobby. They no longer sell soulstones to summon your corpse so they took them out.

    This resulted in this quest being changed to where on step 3 it now tells you just to go speak to the corpse summoners.

    Thanks! I've updated the quest with all the dialog and added the buff link and stats you're given on the last step.
