Say raid to Praetor Denik in Lceanium to trigger the raid. The person triggering must have the Partisan of Lceanium achievement done.

Say ready to enter the raid instance.

You say, 'Hail, Praetor Denik'
Praetor Denik says, 'Hello. It is not my [task] to greet and welcome people to our city, but I welcome you nonetheless.'
You say, 'task'
Praetor Denik says, 'My task is the protection of this city. Not a simple task, but once our wall is complete it will become significantly easier. [Dangers] lurk everywhere in this place. I am unsure why we have bothered to come here, but it is important to Tsaph that we do, so we have.'
You say, 'Dangers'
Praetor Denik says, 'Well, there are the obvious ones, like the fact that there are giants and other monsters out there. But those we can deal with, I think. It's the sarnak that worry me. From what I have learned, there beasts have grown much stronger while our lord Tsaph was ill. It also seems that they are not happy about our presence in these lands, which they claim as their own. Even now I sense that some significant trouble is near. We may need your [assistance] in the near future.'
You say, 'assistance'
Praetor Denik says, 'I am certain that we will need all sorts of help from you and your people. Are you part of a [smaller force], or can you muster [larger numbers]?'
You say, 'larger numbers'
Praetor Denik says, 'Good news for us, especially now. There is an army massing outside the city, and we could use your help to defend from the [raid].'
You say, 'raid'
Praetor Denik says, 'Very good. I can tell you what we face when you have [prepared].'
Lceanium: Doorstep of War is now available to you.

Inside the instance...

You say, 'Hail, Praetor Denik.'
Praetor Denik says, 'Ah, hello. I apologize if I am distracted. It is my duty to defend the city, and I don't like this, not at all. They have stopped their assault, which is good, but why? What is it that they are planning? If only we knew more about what they can do and what they are willing to do. Why are they even here? I am sorry for rambling. Please, let me concentrate.'

You say, 'Hail, Lcea Katta'
Lcea Katta says, 'We've held them at bay so far. They have numbers, we have magic. I don't know a whole lot about sarnak, but they weren't this numerous or organized in the past. Clearly they did not expect the power we have at hand. They really have no chance to defeat us.'

You say, 'Hail, Tsaph Katta'
Tsaph Katta says, 'Hello, Yourname. It seems that the conflict has eased. This is a perfect opportunity to attempt to parlay with their leaders. I believe we can end this without further bloodshed. As representatives of Firiona Vie, I hope that you can see the [value] in this. My advisors believe that I am being [foolish].'
You say, 'value'
Tsaph Katta says, 'We should save as many lives as we can save, regardless of the risk to ourselves. This is what being a leader is all about. I have explained this to my stubborn daughter and the rest of my councilors, but they do not understand. I can see that the values that Firiona holds live in you, and this pleases me. I would like you to accompany me to the negotiations when you are [ready].'
You say, 'foolish'
Tsaph Katta says, 'Sometimes it takes a foolish man to achieve great things. I am set in this, all I ask is that you join me when you are [ready].'
You say, 'ready'
Tsaph Katta says, 'Good, good. Come then, let us see if we can strike an accord with these sarnak. Hopefully this rather dirty scroll looks enough like a white flag...'

The Combine group walks over to speak with the Sarnak group...

Tsaph Katta says, 'I am glad you are open to speaking with me. I would know why it is that you have come to our home with an army. What is it that we can do to bring this to a peaceful end?'
Overlord Bathezid says, 'You dare to act innocent? Do you think we are so stupid that we could not discover what you have done? You come here and claim our lands and murder our people! Dry'dn may not have been our best, but...'
Lcea Katta says, 'You attacked us! Killed my friends! Animals! Beasts! You are monsters!'
Tsaph Katta says, 'Calm yourself, child.'
Lcea Katta says, 'I am NOT a child. You were born before me, but I have actually lived much more than you. While you were sleeping I have seen what creatures like these will do. You are a naive fool.'
Overlord Bathezid says, 'Enough of this! Prepare yourselves for death. You city will fall. We will...'
Lcea Katta says, 'No! I will not allow this!'
Royal Guard changes form, growing as she roars, 'No! You will not commit such treachery here!'
Gorenaire interposes between Lcea Katta and her target, Bathezid, deflecting the deadly magic.
Tsaph Katta says, 'What are you doing!'
Overlord Bathezid says, 'How dare you!'
Gorenaire swipes at Tsaph Katta, raking powerful claws across his back.
Tsaph Katta says, 'Run! Retreat to the city!'
Overlord Bathezid says, 'It is time for us to leave. If Lady Gorenaire wishes to kill these fools, who are we to interfere?'

The Main Event

At this point, Gorenaire goes active. She has several directional emotes and spells to go with them.

Frontal Cone: Gorenaire's Freezing Breath (90K AE nuke, 90K DoT, 45% snare, 50% melee slow) - Gorenaire takes a deep inhalation.
Rear Cone: Powerful Tail Swipe (151K AE nuke and knockback) - Gorenaire's tail twitches.
Right Cone: Left Wing Sweep (151K AE nuke and knockback) - Gorenaire's right wing twitches.
Left Cone: Right Wing Sweep (151K AE nuke and knockback) - Gorenaire's left wing twitches.

Defend yourself and bring Gorenaire down to 95%.

Gorenaire shouts, 'There is no reason for this battle to be so physical. It is time to fight as dragons fight.'
Gorenaire teleports away and begins assaulting the city.
Praetor Denik shouts, 'Prepare! The assault begins in earnest now!'

You must defend Tsaph Katta and defeat several waves of invaders. If you allow Tsaph to fall, the event fails and resets.
With Tsaph Katta's death many of the defenders flee. You have failed to protect the city.

Until you bring Gorenaire back to the ground, she will target areas with a giant white circle to use her breath attack on. She does not care whether she hits Combine, Sarnak, or players.

Sarnak spawn in front of each each of the three major breaches in the fortress wall. There is a lightning barrier to help keep the Sarnak out. Each barrier has a number of allied Combine defenders that you can buff and heal, but it will still require raid intervention to keep the breaches from being overrun. As Sarnak invaders collide with the barrier, most will fall down, but the barrier can weaken and allow some Sarnak through. The praetor august magio can restore barriers as the event progresses, so it is especially important to defend them to slow the flow of Sarnak.
a magical barrier breaks as it runs out of energy.
a praetor august magio restores a missing barrier.
Tsaph Katta shouts, 'No! We cannot allow our praetor august magio to be killed! Only they can repair our barriers, and we need those barriers!'

Denik's shout starts a timer. After 35 seconds, he will call for help at one of the breaches because extra Sarnak are attacking there.
Praetor Denik shouts, 'We need reinforcements at the northwestern breach!'
Praetor Denik shouts, 'We need reinforcements at the northeastern breach!'
Praetor Denik shouts, 'We need reinforcements at the eastern breach!'

The Sarnak are basically zone trash, but do use the Sarnak Finesse riposte buff. You have 3 minutes and 30 seconds to kill the first wave, then 3 minutes and 5 seconds to kill a second wave.

After the Sarnark trash waves, three giants spawn in the SouthEast corner of the fort and start roaming North along the wall.
Praetor Denik shouts, 'Heroes! We need you in the southeast. They have sent giants to climb our walls!'

The giants cast Giant Stomp (121K PB AE nuke, 3 second stun, and knockback), so they should not be fought near each other to prevent overlapping AEs. They also use Ankle Crush, a 22K nuke with an 8 second stun that also forces you to feign death. You have 2 minutes and 15 seconds to kill the giants before the final wave of invaders.

Praetor Denik shouts, 'Be ready for incoming enemy reinforcements! I don't like the look of those shields!'
Two flame assaulters attack at each breach, for a total of six assaulters. The lightning barriers do not stop them. The flame assaulters are buffed with Blazing Shield Barrier (mitigate 80% of melee damage, 80% chance to reflect spells for up to 80% damage), which you can strip by fighting the assaulter in the target circle for Gorenaire's breath attack.

As soon as the giants are dead, sokokar bombardiers spawn and fly overhead, dropping magical bombs on the fortress area using the Incendiary Explosive spell (75K PB AE nuke and knockback). Denik needs your help with these, too.
Praetor Denik shouts, 'Hurry with those mounts! There are even more enemies in the air! We need them now! We need some heroes to mount up and defend us!'

A pridekeeper and four pridewing defenders spawn near Tsaph Katta.

a pridekeeper says, 'I have a mount for you, if you are ready. We have been training them, but understand that such training takes years. They will fly their patrol routes, and if you use one of our whistles you can probably get it to halt, but that will be about it. They are fearless, however, and will not be scared by anything. I can assign you a mount when you are [ready]. Make sure that you have no mount of your own, or the magical residue of any such mount, or the lions will not approve.'
You say, 'ready'
You vault up on the pridewing indicated by the pridekeeper.
You escape from combat and evade your opponents.
a pridekeeper says, 'Good, good. I wish you the best of luck. Oh, here. Take this lance. It has a short range, but should be able to drop those lizards out of the sky. I doubt you'll be able to use your magic or your own weapons during flight.'
You are put onto a mount and it takes to the air. You cannot control where the mount will go, it has a preset path to follow. You are given an Energy Lance, which you use as a clicky to to deal damage to the sokokar and knock them to the ground. You are also given a Pridewing Whistle, which you can click to make the mount hover for a few seconds. There are four sokokar to kill for this phase, and a maximum of four mounts can be used at any time.

Once all invading Sarnak, giants, and sokokar are dead, you can finally deal with Gorenaire.

Praetor Denik shouts, 'Recall the pride! Heroes, mount up and drive that dragon to the ground. Let's finish this!'

Use the same Energy Lances on Gorenaire until she falls from the sky. Regardless of where she is in flight, she will always fall and go aggro next to Tsaph Katta.

Gorenaire continues to use the same directional emotes and abilities she had at the beginning of the event, and gains one more. Gorenaire will now cast Bite and Toss (an 88K DD, knockback, and memblur) on her most-hated target every 90 seconds.
Gorenaire grasps the one she hates the most in her teeth and tosses the pest away.

As you fight Gorenaire, she calls for help. There are two kinds of adds she will summon, either dervishes (a living blizzard, a living squall) or drakes (a dreadfrost drake), and they are summoned three at a time. The dervishes will aggro immediately, but the drakes are flying overhead and will not aggro until you force them down by casting mesmerize-type spells on them. The drakes cast Chilling Drake Breath (50K AE nuke, 24K DoT, and increases the damage of Gorenaire's Freezing Breath by 20%) as a frontal cone, and they cast this regardless of whether they are on aggro, so bring them down quickly and face the drakes away from the raid to control their debuff. The drakes can lose interest and return to the air if you are slow to kill them.

Gorenaire calls for aid, and you immediately hear the beating of wings.
a dreadfrost drake appears confused, dropping to the ground.
Gorenaire's freezing breath coalesces into living things. Angry living things.
At 5% health, Gorenaire's health locks until all her allies are dead.
The drakes and dervishes empower Gorenaire, keeping her healthy.

Each player earns 10 Ancient Sebilisian Coins and 1 Di`Zok Royal Seal on a win.

The chest drops 2 pieces of Amorphous Velazul armor, 2-4 pieces of other loot, 3-5 Runes of Kunark for Rk. III spells, 2 Ancient Sebilisian Coins, and a chance for 1 Element of Kunark.

"Other loot" includes:
Kar`Zok Claw Talisman
Krinza, Sarnak Bite
Mastermind
Skyiron Rod
Tome of Resolution
Tooth
