Dark Reign: Halfling's Treasure Map

It is a group mission (3-6 players) that begins with Talontar (click for map image) in the Dark Reign camp of the Lavastorm Mountains. Pre-requisites for requesting: - Minimum Level 55 - Minimum "warmly" faction with the Dark Reign Hail him to get a quest selection window pop-up. You have been assigned the task 'Halfling's Treasure Map'. We came upon a horrid little halfling that was sneaking around our camp. I saw that it had a map and that it had markings on it... like it could lead to treasure. I tried to grab him, but his hairy feet were too quick. I chased him to the Lavaspinner's Lair, where he disappeared. Go find him and see if he's uncovered anything with that map of his! Note: This group mission scales to your group's level. The highest is 68+, outlined here. 
Touch the cave entrance to Lavaspinner's Lair 0/1 (The Broodlands) This is in the far southeastern part of the Broodlands. Speak to the Halfling 0/1 (Lavaspinner's Lair) You say, 'Hail, Tarpo Fiddengrab' Tarpo Fiddengrab looks weak and his breathing is labored. 'You must help me. I came here to check a map I found and while I was here, I found a treasure chest. I inspected it and found it was protected by a strange riddle. I answered it and opened the chest. I went further and found another, but I did now know the answer to open it, so I picked the lock. That's when it [happened].' You say, 'What happened?' Tarpo Fiddengrab says 'Well, I've been plagued by a horrible spell. I managed to crawl back here, but I cannot leave. I tried, but the curse got stronger. I believe we need to find the answer to the treasures kept here. I have seen four chests. You must solve their mystery. I believe that you can free me of this curse if you do . . . and uhm, maybe share your findings?' Find the first chest 0/1 (Lavaspinner's Lair) Find the second chest 0/1 (Lavaspinner's Lair) Find the third chest 0/1 (Lavaspinner's Lair) Find the fourth chest 0/1 (Lavaspinner's Lair) There are four chests scattered throughout the lavaspinner area of the zone. They must be opened in a certain order, or the task fails. If you /inspect a chest, it gives you a clue as to which number it is. First to open is "a gold chest" at /loc -840, 1575, 22 (in the large cavern preceding Volkara's lair) Inspect: After gold is platinum, then silver after both. Second to open is "a cracked chest" at /loc -1165, -1665, -36 (the northeasternmost dead-end cavern in the lavaspinner area) Inspect: An inscription on the chest reads: 256 - 16 - 4 – Third to open is "a gilded chest" at /loc -1340, -965, -78 (eastern part of the lavaspinner area - the second dead-end cavern down from the north) Inspect: I'm not the first nor the last, but I'm second to none. Fourth to open is "a silver chest" at /loc -1680, -1235, -32 (the first dead-end cavern southeast of the zone-in point) Inspect: One step forward, and two steps back. Two steps brings you ahead, but farther back. All chests a guarded by multiple "a treasure _____" mobs (standard mobs). Goblins are immune to mez. Drakes are mezzable and stunnable. Some of the mobs proc "Banish Intruder" (a shadowstep spell). Open them in the order above to progress the task. Upon opening the last one, the task completes: Tarpo Fiddengrab shouts 'You have solved the puzzle and cured me! I must tell you though, I know why you're here and I don't have what you're looking for. Those items were not very valuable... er, useful to me, so I put them in the wagon at camp. Look at it this way, though -- you saved a life! Uhm, I gotta run!' You helped that foolish halfling and didn't get his map? Fool! We will have to use what little information you gleaned from that place. Be more thorough in future!
