This is a quick Frostfell task only available from December 24 to December 26.
Find Santug Claugg outside the main bank in the Plane of Knowledge (he may also give this task in starting cities). You say, 'Hail, Santug Claugg' Santug Claugg says 'Happy Frostfell! Today is da day of gift giving! Santug might have a gift for you! I can [check] me list for your gift!' Santug Claugg says 'Har! Happy Frostfell to you! Santug is here to bring the holiday spirit! If you wants ta join the Frostfell funs, there are a few [things] ya can do!' You say, 'Check' Santug Claugg says 'Here is your gift _____! Enjoy it! Happy Frostfell!' You have been assigned the task 'Frostfell - Santug's Gift'. Open Santug's Gift 0/1 (ALL) Right-click the "Gift from Santug" given to you. Rewards: Eggnog Mistletoe Sprig Frostfell Wreath Grimp Scales Frostfell Goblin Snack Elf Ears Santug Suit Frostfell Tree Toy Eye Ball Toy Skates | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

If you do get the quest, they're not trackable but they are invis.

This is not a quest that you have to go anywhere or gather items etc.
There is nothing else to do but Hail the correct Santa. It must be the one sitting by the tree. And only on the day of Christmas and maybe the one day after.
They both have reply's about the list but the correct Santa will give you the gift. Then right click on the gift box and it will put the items in your reward window.
If he tells you that you have helped all you can then you are at the wrong Santa. If you have done this in the past then his response will be "According to me list, I have already given you a gift (insert your character name here)

I couldn't get this work when I was speaking to the Santug sitting out in the open. That one kept giving me the Santug's List quest.
Later in the day I noticed there was a second Santug sitting under a tree, I targeted him and said, "Check" to him and got the gift to open for that quest. So, if you're having trouble, look around, you're probably speaking to the wrong Santug like I was.

Just say check. It won't work with check my list. Single word "check"

I can't seem to get this quest. I hail santug and all he says is 'You've helped santug all you can this frostfell' . any clues as to why I cant get quest

Yeah, he gives text as if he gave you the quest but you don't actually get assigned any tasks

From what I have read on the official forums is it appears to be broken.
You get 5 of each item.
The Santug Suits are temporary, so use them now or lose them.
And the Toy Eye Balls say they have 3 charges, but they don't. Only 1 charge each.
