Dreadscale Greaves  

Zorash can spawn in any of the three sarnack forts. It took me about two weeks and killing him about six time for him to finally drop the boots. I now have all but the mask and the vambraces. Off to get the gorla skin i guess.

Go camp something that gives good experience and loot and save up for some barbed leggings then some ry'gor leggings. the rarity of Zorash AND of the boots dropping makes this quest totally not worth it especially since the new ry'gor armor from Velious is available and the leggings have better stats than these.

FYI Zorash can spawn at any of the Sarnak camps in The Overthere, I've seen him at the two buildings by the FM zone, at the tower by the WW zone or at the open ruins that are also near the WW zone, none of the dozen plus times that I slayed him was I able to pry any boots off his bloody feet or anywhere on his person. This is a hella camp even for a level 50 who can just pull and waste Sarnaks one at a time from the camps. On an ironic note my guildleader has spent some time helping friends (OK, powerleveling them) at the sarnak camps and he says he's let a pair rot before.

I've got all the items except for the Banded Greaves. Where do you get these? Is it a blacksmith item or is it a quest item?

Please help.

FYI -- I have been wondering what "Zorash" was for. He spawns in OT, mostly at the 3 sarnak spawn and 9 sarnak spawn in Overthere. I've never seen him drop anything before, but haven't killed him in awhile.

I am not sure if the pants are worth all the trouble :)

I feel the pain of my fellow brothers with the way that the boots drop from Zorash.I have spent 4 days trying to get the greaves (already have the gloves,boots,bracer and arms) and after killing Zorash 8 times I still have no boots.The items dropping off a rare mob I can understand but a uber rare drop off a rare mob is just not fun nor fair.C

Can you imagine the anger if the dark forge armor quest items dropped as rarly as dreadscale armor quest items.There would be so much ******** Verant would need to close there email for good.

I love my Iksar SK and can deal with the exp penilty but am so sick of us getting screwed over by Verant.The khuri quest is still broken since day one of Kunark,we have sold all armor types at higher levels and even the Dreadscale BP quest appears to be broken.

Also why is Dreadscale armor 1 ac less than Darkforge ? Iksar are supposed to have a AC bonus but this seems to only be of use when we are naked and doing a CR.We pay the exp penilty for certain bonus's we get so why are we having to pay a penelty?

I have killed this guy 20 times over the last 3 days. Spending at least 30 hours in The Overthere. Killed him in the tower, In the ruins by the WW zone and also in the ruins in the middle of the zone straight out from the FM zone. In this time I have looted 4 Earings of station and not one boot off Zorash. Something is seriously wrong here. Please correct this.

ARGH. This is very frustrating. While camping one of the sarnak ruins for about 8 hours zorash spawned around the 7th hour, he coned yellow to me at 32.... Kill #1 no boots. He decided to show his ugly face again as my group was about to disband, coned red to me at 32... Kill #2 no boots. Does this seem absurd to anyone other than me? Is it not enough for Zorash to be a rare spawn? The greaves are a great reward, but killing a rare spawn 2 times and no boots is BS. I wish he always dropped the boots, or spawned more frequently. oh well... back to evercamp.

I, a level 39 mage, 52 shaman, and another 36 SK camped the ruins between fm zone and scorp pit for a couple hours - no zorash. Does anyone know which of the three buildings he spawns in? We also tried for the hell of it the ruins by the iksar merchant in the northeast corner of zone - no luck there either. If I knew which spot he pops in or at least which building, it should go alot quicker (i hope) =)

Does anyone know about what level Zorash is?

My friend started killing gobs in the city about 30 min before I got there. I spent about 15 min with min then the big G man spawned. We took him down and he dropped iksar gloves *what a suprise* and the head of grachnist. the head like the berserker head looks like a full sized skull. We spent another 15 min killing and another Grachnist spawned, he also dropped golves and the head. So 2 for 2. either luck or it is dropped every time now.

granchist down 9 times, 3 totems, 1 earring, whole lotta gloves. But no damn skull.
